We were at home in Paradise! Visited: June 2007 Posted by rumrunner We have visited St. John for many years, and stayed in both hotels and villas. Tango Mare is, by far, the most comfortable and unique experience we have had in the Caribbean. We had a chance encounter with the Tango Kids (adult children of the owners) at one of the local watering holes, and snuck a peak at the property one of the last days of our trip. It put our villa to shame. The following year, we booked at Tango and it was one of the best vacations of my life. It is difficult to single out any one amenity that made this villa feel like home. They had a gourmet kitchen, beautiful pool, spacious suites, outdoor showers (loved them), and great atmosphere night and day. In the end, we felt like we owned this beatiful home for the week we stayed here! Every time I stay at Tango, I get the feeling the owners have poured their souls into this paradise. Check out the guestbook while you are here, and you will wonder why some of the guests did not give up their lives back home and stay. The only reticence I feel giving this reveiw is that if you book this property, I may not get it the two weeks I want it this year!
