We just returned from a six-night stay at Villa Greenleaf in sunny St. Croix, and we can't say enough about this B & B in the hills overlooking the Caribbean Sea!
The property's location is perfect - close to beaches, dining and shopping - and this is important, as St. Croix is a nice-sized island with many interesting, scenic and winding roads.
The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The pool area is very lovely, too!
The owner and "concierge" were on premise at all times and made everything easy - picked us/delivered us back to/from the airport, had our rental car waiting at the B & B, made our dinner reservations, tee times, gave us maps/directions to special beaches and bars, and spent many hours each day making sure we were happy and well-taken care of.
Whether we needed an umbrella, towels, cooler and ice for a beach trip, or a recommendation for an outing - Erica and Jeff took care of it all.
We had a chance to mix and mingle with the other guests at breakfast each morning and again at cocktail hour in the early evening. The homemade breakfasts were delicious, and coffee was "on" each day at 7:10 a.m. for the early risers. Cocktails were ample and hors d'oeuvres quite tasty - lots of fun coversation "al fresco" with the owners and other guests if you felt like schmoozing.
Their pups - Monet and Metro, help make it a cozy place, and it is hard not to get attached to them during your stay. This B & B is very lovely, and we felt relaxed here - this is the place to stay right now in St. Croix. Villa Greenleaf made our trip to this island quite unforgettable.
St. Croix is rather undiscovered and unspoiled, but the dining is quite sophisticated. The beaches are really pretty and secluded - white sand and turquoise water. Let Villa Greenleaf take care of you and you will have a great trip! |

My wife and I, along with another couple, just returned from a week-long vacation in St. Croix, where we stayed at Villa Greenleaf. Our stay was, by far, one of the best vacations we have taken in several years.
Villa Greenleaf was a small bed and breakfast featuring five well decorated rooms, all with private entrances. The grounds were superb, with the rooms surrounding a gorgeous pool.
What made this place so wonderful was the hospitality of Erica. Erica greeted us every morning with a breakfast that was out of this world – each morning with a different flair.
In the evenings, Erica hosted a cocktail hour with our favorite drinks, followed by making our dinner reservations at any one of the many fine dining establishments the island has to offer.
Villa Greenleaf was centrally located, with a wonderful view of the water from this mountain side retreat. Our rate included a rental car, which was waiting for us at the inn when we arrived. Erica greeted you at the airport, and shuttled us back at the end of our stay.
This was a truly wonderful place that we would recommend to anyone, especially for that great getaway with your significant other. |

My husband and I reside on St. Thomas. For the long Memorial weekend, we decided to "island hop". We thoroughly enjoyed St. Croix, and staying at Villa Greenleaf was the topping on the cake.
The rooms were pristine. The gathering area was well appointed. The pool with views was cooling.
However, Erica, our hostess, was the best. She knew all the restaurants and sights. She definitely has connections on the island. Plus, she can cook! The breakfasts were wonderful, and the evening cocktail hour with appetizers was the perfect way to end a busy day. We enjoyed a visit with our neighboring guests.
We will return! |

I recently spent my holiday on St. Croix, and rather than choosing the usual route of an informal hotel, I dedided to stay at a Caribbean bed and breakfast. Villa Greenleaf seemed to be a good choice.
The West Indian style room, the private balcony, and the meticulously groomed grounds - these were just a few of the pleasures that greeted me when I arrived.
Jeff and his assitant Erica made sure that no details were overlooked. They went beyond the call duty to make me feel at home and that I didn't have a care in the world.
I was thrilled to spend the evenings having cocktails and soaking in the Jacuzzi, while staring at the Caribbean sunset. What a great way to meet other guests, too.
Having a rental car as part of the deal made the island far more accesible. It was such a convenience to have it delivered right to me!
Usually, when you hear breakfast is included, visions of cereal boxes and a toaster are the norm. This was far from the case at Villa Greenleaf. They whipped up some amazing morning meals that made me want to get up early even though I was vacationing.
I can honestly say that staying here was the best decision I made, and I am planning another trip here in the winter with a group of friends. This place gets my vote any day! Cheers to you guys for knowing how to treat a guest! |

This was a beautiful setting for a getaway. It started with a rum punch at the quaint airport. Then, as I took off my jacket, I was wisked away to a well manicured villa, close to Christiansted and close to a variety of eateries and watering holes.
I dropped my bags off in a beautifully appointed room, and went poolside to see other guests enjoying the same surroundings. I also pampered myself with one of Donna's pedicures.
The sky soon turned to night and filled with stars. It had taken only a few hours to unwind. What a great week I had!

Villa Greenleaf is a beautiful, luxurious accommodation on a hillside overlooking the blue waters of the Caribbean.
Jeff's evening appetizers were served with wines and local drinks. The bed was soft and comfortable with an "easy to sleep to" breeze coming in off the private deck. Each night I looked forward to getting to the bed, which was dressed in what must have been 600-count sheets with a real crisp feel.
Each day, the breakfast was a perfect start to fuel a day of exploration of this very interesting island. The breakfast nook was shaded by an ancient Kapok tree.
A cooling dip in the pool was followed by one of Donna's reflexology treatments, all overlooking the blue sea.
This small island allows you to gamble, shop, fish, hike or just drive about. |
