Battery Hill Condominiums - St. John, USVI

Perched on a hillside overlooking St. John's main town of Cruz Bay, Battery Hill Condominiums offer great views, close-to-town convenience, and modern tropical accommodations. Stairs connect the units, so you'll face a bit of a trek up and down to get to your unit.

The multi-level condominiums all have views of the sailboats bobbing in the busy harbor from the private decks. They feature ceramic tile floors, modern tropical furniture with colorful accents, kitchens, televisions, air-conditioning, and ceiling fans.

Guests gather around a small swimming pool for sun and fun. If you want to beach it, you'll have to head out to the V.I. National Park's North Shore beaches for a day of sun. Of course, you can walk into Cruz Bay for a stroll around town. A 10-minute stroll puts you right in the heart of town where you'll find lots of good restaurants - we like the Fish Trap for dinner and Sun Dog Cafe for lunch - along with interesting shopping, people watching and just plain poking about.

When you're tired of relaxing on your deck, head out for a morning of hiking. Pick up a map at the V.I. National Park Visitor's Center in Cruz Bay to find a hike that suits your ability and interest. You can hike up Margaret Hill and down to Honeymoon Bay right from town.

While you really don't need a car if you're willing to put some miles on your walking shoes, renting one for at least a day will give you a chance to get out and see the sights.
