It was very friendly, clean and beautiful. Visited: March 2003 Posted by vschaffr The Breakfast Club was situated a few blocks up from the harbor in downtown Christiansted, and it was an easy walk to many shops and restaurants. Planning a trip to Buck Island was a great adventure, and the pick-up/drop-off point was an easy walk from the hotel. The owner, Toby Chapin, was a very nice man and continuosly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Every morning he served a wonderful choice of breakfast items, including delicious banana pancakes, fruit, etc. He was also very helpful in directing visitors to fun activities and great restaurants. The rooms were equipped with their own bathrooms, and full kitchen. There was no air conditioning in our particular room, but with the windows open and the nice breeze, it never bothered us. The rooms were clean and cozy. There was an absolutely beautiful view, and you may even take time to relax on one of the hammocks. 1 users found this review helpful. 0 found this review unhelpful. My wife and I stayed in September, with our gracious hosts Toby & Barb Chapin (owners) who made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. The rooms were perfect, offering kitchenettes for us to do some of our own cooking and very clean. The atmosphere of the Breakfast Club was one of relaxation while only a short walk from the main area of downtown. We especially enjoyed mingling with the other guests who came from all over the world.
