The spacious rooms feature carpeting, pastel spreads and off-white drapes and ceiling fans. Some have air-conditioning, but you'll pay extra. The rooms aren't fancy, but more than adequate for the budget vacationer. Those on a barebones wallet can share a bath or opt for a private bath just off the hallway.

The closest beach, Lindbergh Bay, is a five-minute ride down the hill, but the pool provides a place to sun while you enjoy the view.
