This is my Shangri-La. Visited: March 2008

I have found my slice of heaven.

Ms. Alice and her crew keep the grounds immaculate. It's my second time at Sapphire, and first at Crystal Cove. I actually cancelled a reservation at Frenchmen's Reef to come back to Crystal Cove. I love it here!

I am going back in the fall, and my trip is already booked!

A wonderful condo on a beautiful beach. Visited: June 2003

We recently spent a week at Crystal Cove and it was fantastic. Our condo was very spacious with a great view of the ocean. Sapphire Beach was great - never crowded. The snorkeling was wonderful. I would highly recommend Crystal Cove.

It was more than we anticipated - a great vacation hideaway. Visited: May 2003

We have been vacationing on this island for a number of years, but Crystal Cove was a new experience. The condos were near the beach/ocean, restaurants, corner store and some entertainment (depending on the day of the week).

My three grandkids came down for their spring break and the
condo owners, the staff and other vacationers were so helpful. It was just like being in a neighborhood at home.

I am already planning my trip for the spring. I must say that Alice is the glue that keeps things working. Alice and her coworkers
must be commended.

Sapphire Beach is the "bomb-diggity". Visited: November 2002

We have stayed at Crystal Cove about seven times over the past ten years. The units are dated and need complete makeovers. The management does their best to maintain the exterior of the units and it is quite pretty. The main attraction is the beach. Sapphire Beach is by far the nicest beach on St. Thomas. It consists of beautiful sand and gentle waves. What else could you ask for?

Crystal Cove offered a great location, was economical and clean. Visited: April 2002

I am a travel consultant and I just returned from a one-week vacation at Carnival time in St.Thomas, staying at the Crystal Cove Condos.

I stayed here once before in the one-bedroom unit, which was very nice. This time, there were five in our party and we had a two-bedroom unit with three bathrooms and two pull out Murphy beds.

The unit was older and in need of painting and other maintenance repairs, but in spite of this, our needs were met. I want to thank Alice, the manager of the property, for assisting our every need with a smile and immediate action to make our stay comfortable.

The Sapphire Beach was great and we had access to their hotel facilities. I do recommend the Crystal Cove for its location. It provided a "home away from home" atmosphere and it was mostly because of Alice.

Economical, clean, and quiet on a great beach. Visited: January 2002

We just returned from St. Thomas, where we stayed at Crystal Cove on Sapphire Beach. It was a beautiful beach for both swimming and snorkeling. Crystal Cove, one of three options for staying at that beach, has spacious, older one-bedroom two-bath units set back from the beach in two-story-high buildings. The units were not fancy but were certainly spacious, and we loved having two bathrooms. There were twin Murphy beds in the living room, as well as a queen-sized sofa bed. The spacious bedroom had a king-sized bed and a daybed. There was also a porch, which in some units was screened or enclosed by jalousies. In our unit, it was just an open porch. Because of the extra beds provided and the two bathrooms, these units would be good for families with children.

The resort had a swimming pool and two well-kept tennis courts. Someone from the resort was on duty at the beach to set up chairs and chaise lounges. These were available only to people staying in the condo units. The neighboring Sapphire Beach resort had sailboats and windsurfing boards that can be rented.

Antilles Resorts upgraded us to a one-bedroom unit, although we had paid for an efficiency. The unit was clean but definitely older. It hadn’t been updated.

Three complexes share the same beautiful beach, which was not at all crowded even in January (though admittedly, it's an unusual January with few tourists). We liked the fact that there were three restaurant choices within short walking distance: the Seagrape on the beach, a steak house near the pool and marina at the Sapphire Beach Resort, and the Azure restaurant at the condos on the hill, near the pool. Azure was our favorite.

Sapphire Beach Resort runs a cut-rate van service during the day to Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook, and during the evening to various restaurants. Using this service can save you some money on taxis, as long as you can stick to the schedule they have set. The timetable was in our unit at Crystal Cove so anyone, not just guests of Sapphire Beach Resort itself, can use the service.

I'd recommend Crystal Cove as a place where you can be comfortable at a good price on a really beautiful beach.

Spacious and comfortable for a family of 3. Visited: December 2001

We were a bit nervous about staying at Crystal Cove because we had found almost no reviews on the Web and saw it described as an "older" complex. Plus, it was priced lower than most places on St. Thomas.

As it turned out, our condo was terrific. We stayed 8 days with two adults and a 16-year-old in a 1-bedroom unit, and there was loads of space. The living room had a sofa bed and 2 Murphy beds; big bedroom with king bed and futon; two full baths; full kitchen; patio. Sapphire Beach was on the other side of a big lawn area. There was a pool and lighted tennis courts.

The units are individually owned and rented through different firms. We rented from Antilles Resort Management and we were very happy with them. Our condo was in excellent condition and nicely furnished, but they may vary. Also, we felt very safe in the Sapphire/Red Hook area. We can't wait to go back!

Our home away from home. Visited: January 2001

February 3, 2002 will be our 7th 2-week stay at Crystal Cove Villas. We just love it and can't imagine staying any other place in St. Thomas. There's just the two of us and it suits our purpose perfectly, particularly the location. The units are spacious and any minor problems we’ve had were taken care of. It has become our home away from home.
