Innparadise - St. Croix, USVI

A stay at Innparadise puts you in the St. Croix home of Tommie
and Paula Broadnax. The couple moved here a couple of years ago expressly
to open a bed and breakfast.

Soft music greets you when Tommie or Paula opens the door to the
vast common room, setting the stage for a pleasant house party. The inn overlooks the Christiansted outskirts and the sea beyond. You can watch the seaplane come in for a landing from the common room while you eat your continental breakfast of breads, bagels, yogurt and fruit.

The five modern rooms are all different, with carpeting on the
floor and pastels on the walls and spreads. They have names like Paula's
Fancy and Peaches and Cream. Two of the rooms share a bath, while the
others have private baths. All have televisions and airconditioning. Wheelchairs can easily make it through the front door.

You can while away your day with a good book at innparadise, but
most folks prefer to make it a base for exploring St. Croix. Its close
proximity to Christiansted makes it perfect for shop-till-you-droppers.
The island's main town has lots of cozy shops with interesting and
duty-free merchandise.

Christiansted has some pretty good restaurants. Savant is the
latest fave, but Crucians always love the Danish cuisine at the Top Hat.
And there's a McDonald's at the bottom of innparadise's hill.

There aren't many great beaches nearby, but a 15-minute drive puts
you at the Buccaneer Hotel's beach. Head west a half-hour to Frederiksted
and you have its shops, restaurants and glorious beaches to explore.
