They had the best cheeseburger on the island. |

| After a day of snorkeling at Maho or Francis Bay, take Centerline Road and head over to Coral Bay. It is a small place that is hugely popular with the locals. It is fun, lively, and has great service. The food is very good for a casual dive. There are also little shops to browse in while your food cooks. There is lots of local color. |

Here you find the best ribs on the island. |
|
| Posted by rmsheffi17 | |
| This is a corner shack and grill place in downtown Cruz Bay. We have been eating here the last four times we've come to St. John. It has never been disappointing. The price is right, the food is cooked to order, and the ribs are wonderful (chicken, too). In addition, salads and other sides are very good. Don't miss this one! |

I was unimpressed, and it was too expensive! |
|
| Posted by rmsheffi17 | |
| The food was fair. They served huge portions - enough for two people for sure. However, it was very overpriced for a pasta place. It was $25.00 per order for pasta! Salads were over $10.00 each, the drinks were high, and the desserts were not worth it. Beware. |

It was the best meal of the stay. |

| Morgan's Mango near Mongoose Junction in downtown Cruz Bay was the best meal of trip. I enjoyed wahoo with mango sauce, curry rice and black eyed beans. It was wonderful. It had a nice decor, and we received good service. We wish we would have eaten there sooner. It became a favorite. |

This is my favorite. |

| I am in the restaurant business and appreciate great food and service. This is the best on the island. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. The service is great and the view is fantastic. I would say this is a must for anyone who loves great food. You can tell the owner is passionate about food, and the wine list is great as well. Don't miss ZoZo's. |

| You must visit Skinny Legs. They have friendly staff and great burgers. It's an all around good time. They make a really good painkiller, too. | |

They have pizza in the dining room, too! |

| Cafe Roma has great food! They serve small pizzas at the tables, and large pizzas at the bar. They offer takeout, too. In addition, they serve great Italian seafood dishes! | |

This is my favorite spot for a sunset dinner. |
|

| We've been to St. John twice, and Zozos fast became one of our favorite restaurants. The food is terrific, but the views at sunset and after are spectacular. With St. Thomas glittering in the distance, there isn't a better spot than at the bar for dinner. It's the same great food with attentive service - and a view that's one in a million! |

Pavillion is excellent, but I must add more comments. |
|
| Posted by amf | |
| Yes, the Pavillion at Maho is excellent. My young-adult daughter and I ate our dinners there. The portions were so large - especially for dinners - we split the meal. There was always a variety of entrees to choice from, which was great, since meat was not always a preference. Margarita Phil near Mongoose Junction by Cruz Bay was a nice place for lunch because they had a nicely prepared menu. Do try the conch fritters! They go well with the margaritas! Now, one must venture and do the local color. I recommend the kiosk across the ferry docks in Cruz Bay - Sheila's. She prepares meat, chicken and fried fish that is so Virgin Islands. With piled up side orders, that is so unique to USVI. If one has access to trying the pattes, do try them. They are actually a version of the empanada with a choice of fillings of conch, saltfish, the meats or shrimps or crabs. Yum! Also, try their homemade juices, too. I suggest passion fruit, guava, tamarind or ginger. Forget mainland eating, and go the Virgin Island way. You will love it and will miss it when you get back home! |

It was poor. |
|
| Posted by rumrunner | |
| Yes, Margarita Phill's has a great drink menu, and the food looks like it would be fantastic. The problem is that it is outrageously noisy, and your order will take 40 minutes to get to you. I have eaten here four times in the last five years. Every time I have, the service, noise and wait time was awful. Don't waste your time. I would give it one star, but it is clean. |

This is the best restaurant on island! |
|
| Posted by rumrunner | |
| Zozo's has, by far, the best menu, atmosphere and service of all of St. John's restaurants. It is not on the low end for price, but you get what you pay for at Zozo's. The calamari is incredible. Make sure to get reservations for sunset. The attire for men would be pants and any collared shirt. |

We love Roma! |
|
| Posted by rumrunner | |
| From the great Italian cuisine to the freindly owners and staff; Roma is one of my family's favorites. We almost always eat here the first and last night of our trip. This place is a no-brainer when it comes to great food and a comfortable atmosphere. |

It was, hands-down, the best meal on St. John |

This was the best lunch on St. John. |
|
| Posted by Andy_Smacs | |
| I am not into vegetarian food as a rule, so I was suspicious of this place. But believe me, I changed my mind quick. This was the best lunch of our entire trip, and the guy who owns the place is "groovy, man". | |
