Kitty's Place offers colorful cottages in a beautiful garden on a beach. Visited: January 2006 Posted by mqqwest These are charming old-style Colonial cottages with balconies and hammocks. They are situated on a large beach, and backed by a garden and trees which are rare in this area. Here, you can enjoy balcony dining and good food. It is laid back, unpretentious, reasonable, and as pretty as (or prettier than) fancier places in Placencia area. Visited: August 2004 Posted by iliveina Kitty's Place is nice. It is very pretty and peaceful. However, there are some major problems. First, after I had settled my bill with them and returned to the United States, they proceeded to charge my credit card without authorization! This, after I found a serious mistake in their original accounting (when I left Belize). My advice is not to trust them with your credit card information. A final note, the trips they send you on are expensive; yet, the gear they provide is dangerous. They provided me with snorkling gear that was broken (mouth guard would not seal b/c a part was missing) and they gave my girl friend a head lamp that did not keep its charge (I took the head lamp and could not see where I was going b/c it was pitch black - - the cave hike was dangerous w/out this safety issue). Visited: December 1969 Posted by midgetmj I was booked to stay 2 weeks and changed my booking to 3 weeks due to the friendly, helpful and most of all, the total fun I had here. All of the employees were so friendly that we had pictures taken with them. They would help us get taxis, boats and local guides to show us the "local color" as in bars, shops, etc. Penny, Tonya, "Georgie Porgie" and Val were the best! I just can't say enough to explain what a great time I had here. Beach, bar, food and making local friends were all part of my very memorable vacation.
