They have the best views than any other resort. Visited: January 2008

This resort was not far away from the San Jose airport, and was real easy to get to. After arriving, it was real easy to see why Costa Rica is so beautiful.

This resort had the best view of looking over the valley and seeing every part of Costa Rica. At night, the sky would be lit up with every light around the city.

Besides the great views, the resort had great staff and food, and everyone was helpful with every question I had.

If you are looking to find a resort with some of the best views around, I would highly suggest LaCatalina Hotel.

This was the best place in the Central Valley of San Jose, Costa Rica.

The rooms were beautiful, and I loved the one with a Jacuzzi tub where they put rose petals on the water.

The food was excellent. I love pasta, so I ordered it for lunch and dinner because it was so rich and juicy that I couldn't resist. Also try their banana pancakes for breakfast, yummm!

The view of the city lights in the night was absolutely fantastic. The drive from the airport can be a little difficult - even with a map - so it is better to ask for their shuttle to pick you up. That will give you a chance to admire the scenery during the 20-minute drive up hill.

I recommend a two or three-night stay as there are a couple of tours that are interesting to take while in the area. The Suites were so comfortable, it did feel like home.

We loved the accommodation and staff. Every member of the staff made us feel right at home, and helped with any inquiries we had.

The restaurant setting was peaceful with a wonderful view from the city.

Also, the food was delicious, and everything tasted fresh.

This hotel boasted an awesome view of San Jose. They had beautiful gardens surrounded by a stone wall.

It was very private, with lots of fruit trees, two heated pools, a fountain, tennis courts, a play room, and a barbecue area.

The main building was a mansion with lots of wood carvings etched into the door frames. It was absolutely relaxing.
