We were quoted $98 a night per room. When we paid, we found out that we were charged $15 / nite for occupants 3 & 4 in each room PER night, even tho there were 2 double beds in each room. So... at $128 a night, we could have gone to a resort with beach access. Shady neighborhood, run-down inn, and lots of steps. Drug paraphenalia littered the street. Hairdryer did not work in one room, sheets dirty in the other room. Lost electricity 2 times in 3 days. One pool could not be used.Strict rationing on breakfast... refill on coffee not allowed.
Food was great, ate here 4 nights of our week stay. Small set menu with Specials every night
Lobster night was very good fresh Agenda Lobsters on the grill mmmm still fresh in my memory :)Their was 7 of us in our party and no one complained about any meal.....
Way to go Bananakeet Cafe!!
What a motto, the Heritage Inn delivers on that statement the views are wonderful.
Quant hotel with a warm heart. Just like Chris and her great staff. Thanks Spicey for the recipe They all make your stay special.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, great food at the Bananakeet Cafe. Can't go wrong.
If we ever get back to BVI no question it's the Heritage Inn
Three years ago this was a wonderful place to stay. My last experience was much worse. The staff was indifferent and even rude, and the room was mosquito infested. The food at the restaurant was good, assuming that you can ever find someone to take your order.
If you drive around the island of Tobago you will see the twist and turns you have to go through to get to different parts of the island.
So first of all the location was excellent in Mount Irvine. And the roads are simple and for the most part straight. Bijou-des-Caraibes has the perfect location.
About 15 minutes from Scarborough and from the best beach in Tobago Pigeon Point near Bucco Reef. You can see this beautiful turquoise reef from the poolside on the mountain top. The caribbean coast is so lovely to look at as soon as you take a stroll along the grounds.
Judy probably has the most beautiful garden in Tobago! It is well manicured and so delightful to look at. Bijou-des-Caraibes is so secure and secluded. You have a nice sized pool all to yourself at your disposal. It's so nice to just walk out and take a dip without the crowds.
We were catered to our every need. Wifi, BBQ Grill, A/C, fresh towels, Completely furnished 2 bedroom apartment with a well equipped kitchen.
No Mosquitos!
Judy is the best hostess as she provided everything we needed and asked for and picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port. Her staff even arranged a rental car for us which they drop off at the house for about $45 a day.
We really enjoyed ourselves and as we looked around the island to look at our 2nd and 3rd and so forth choices, we felt so relieved that we chose Bijou-des-Caraibes. There is no better place in Tobago to stay at- believe us- we checked for our next visit.
