It was fantastic. My kids and I had a great stay.
The beach across the street was so convient. It was so beautiful at night. The kids loved the pool. The decor was excellent! It made my time in Hawaii a vacation I'll never forget! |

We just stayed at this hotel, and I agree with the traveler from NY. The staff made a very favorable impression upon us at our arrival.
The room had everything short of a wi-fi connection. We even had a DVD player, which was great for the kids when we just wanted to relax.
The hotel was very clean inside and out. Some renovation was being done during our stay. Parking was free and convenient, although tight at times. I would suggest using valet to avoid parking on upper levels.
There was also a great view of Waikiki Beach from the 17th floor, and our kitchen was nicely equipped including a rice steamer. We'll definitely return on our next visit. |

Ignore the previous post as the writer has obviously confused the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel with the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower Condominiums.
The latter is a luxury property with amenities such as free parking (a rarity in Honolulu), completely furnished kitchens, twice a day maid service, concierge services, down pillows, washer/dryer, swimming pool, paddle tennis court and one- and two-bedroom condo units with lanais that run the entire width of the unit.
Ours had spectacular views of Diamond Head as well as Waikiki Beach. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the property is located across the street from the beach with restaurants and shops located nearby. It is a really wonderful place! |

We stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel for one night in early April of 2003. There is nothing exceptionally good about this property. The rooms are small and the walls thin. We had a Junior Suite that seemed smaller than many of the surrounding hotel's standard rooms. The hotel is child friendly, which is great if you have kids, but not so great if you don't.
There was no hot water during my stay and a mere discount offered for the inconvenience. The staff is polite, but not very informed about area?s happenings. The hotel has no concierge and lacks many other amenities for the price. This is a fine place to stay if you are on spring break, but discriminating travelers should keep looking. We moved down the street for an additional $10 per night, which ended up being a great hotel. |
