This was an outstanding location and resort. Visited: June 2006

We stayed at the Sheraton Maui for six nights. Our room was updated with a large bathroom. We also had a fridge and a microwave in the room.

The views were gorgeous. They had a great pool, and snorkeling at Black Rock was nice. It was also an easy walk to Whalers Village.

We will definitely stay here again.

This is the best in Hawaii! Visited: September 2004

The staff was so courteous - full of true Hawaiian aloha! I have made several trips to Hawaii and this hotel was the best I have stayed at during all of my trips.

The views were beautiful, and the rooms were clean and a good size. The parking was included which was nice. The only downside was that it was a hike to the parking garage - but who minds a stroll in beautiful Hawaii?

I would recommend this for anyone - families, honeymooners, anyone who wants to enjoy Hawaii for all it is worth! One thing to keep in mind of most of Kaanapali Beach is that you pay big bucks to rent beach umbrellas or lounge chairs!

We experienced perfection in every way. Visited: January 2004

We were so pleased with the Sheraton in Maui that we have vowed never to return to any other hotel on the island.

The Sheraton had it all. We paid a decent room rate, but it was well worth it. The Sheraton was in an excellent location on Kaanapali. We were directed to several different hotels for timeshare information and rentals, so we got to check those out and no stretch of sand compared to that at the Sheraton.

We were told we were there during one of the busiest times of the year, but the resort still maintained an excellent level of intimacy and privacy.

We had an oceanview room and it was amazing. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Service was unbelieveable, they really treated us like family and knew our names, where we were from and that we were on our honeymoon.

Also, the amenities at this resort were excellent. The snorkeling was amazing! There was an 80-foot black rock that was a popular spot and it was right off shore. The grounds at this hotel were very well maintained, as well.

The Sheraton was elegant, classy, and intimate, but it was unpretentious and we still felt like there was so much to do. Which there was on Maui!

Stay at the Sheraton and definitely stay in Kaanapali. You will not be disappointed!

This is the best beachfront in Ka anapali. Visited: September 2003

We stayed at the Sheraton in September in a partial oceanview room (really a joke, but I only paid for a garden view #2115). The building we were in was far from the beach and pool which was a pain when we had to lug all the beach stuff.

Snorkeling was good around Black Rock, but there was a pretty strong current and sometimes was very wavy. Better snorkeling was a few miles away at Honolua Bay. The beach was definitely the biggest of all the hotels. Bring shoes to wear because the sand got really hot!

The pool was nice. The hotel was close to good restaurants and shopping at Whaler's Village. Eat at Hula Grill with your bare feet in the sand - very romantic!

This is a great romantic hotel. Visited: July 2003

My wife and I just returned from Sheraton Maui last Saturday.

The room was an oceanfront room, and the employees were as warm as I have ever experienced. From the general manager to our maid, they were as accommodating as could be. Every morning I would walk a few short steps and be snorkeling.

I give this my best recommendation for relaxation and romance.

I noticed there were no reviews of this hotel, so I will give one. We went to this fantastic hotel to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We stayed in a deluxe oceanfront room.

The hotel and the grounds were gorgeous. The beach was the best on the strip. A nice wide beach and snorkeling was right there at Black Rock.

Do not miss the diving ceremony at dusk. It was a bit hokey, but it seemed appropriate for the setting.

In addition, the food was good.

If you are going to Maui mainly for the beach, the Sheraton definitely has the best beach in this area.

Best Resort on Kaanapali if you are here for the beach. Visited: February 2001

Of all of the resorts on this beach, two things made the Sheraton stand out. One, being at the end, there was a lot less foot traffic. Two, the pool was great, but it never distracted you from the the focus of the beach like many of the other resorts.

We spent five nights and loved it. Our room was close to the beach and the views were fantastic. I highly recommend it.
