Having 3 teenage boys that need total entertainment I sat on my sun lounger listening to the sound of nothing, perfect. My boys were off Kayaking, Sailing, Snorkeling and an afternoon game of Cricket. The equipment was in excellent condition and the rooms fantastic. They are being refurbed at the moment so ask for a good room. We had a Sea View room and what a view. Food excellent and the boys loved the ICE CREAM!!! Try the Nutmeg it is amazing. Facilities for very small children were brilliant and a very air conditioned t.v room was a godsend for that five minute cool down. This hotel is so varst that you do not feel like you are on top of eachother. Ken the Manager is an absolute diamoind and alway's ready to help.

Once we discovered Pisces, we found it difficult to go anywhere else, The tables beside the harbour wall are in a perfect setting to enjoy the delicious fayre that they serve there.
The choice of dishes is excellent and varied, Fish, pasta, steak, vegetarian choices etc, every dish is prepared and presented beautifully, my partner said it was some of the most deliciously fresh tasting pasta she had ever had and we all went back for a steak on our last night they were absolutely divine!. The staff are exceptional, each time we went we had 2 or 3 different people serving us, monitoring our happiness without being intrusive at all.
service is quick and exceedingly polite.
the prices, we thought were more than reasonable, but bear in mind I am english and we are used to paying through the nose for almost everything in our country! seriously tho, it was excellent value for the quality of the food you receive.
In conclusion, do not miss out on trying this restaurant, it would be a shame for you to miss out.

Southern Palms is 5 mins walk from all the excitement of St.Lawrence gap, teeming with bars and restaurants, Our favourite was Pisces, lovely setting,you can watch the turtles as you eat your delicious food.
our room overlooked the beautiful beach. never overcrowded, clean white sands, clear, warm sea, swaying palms and frequented by the friendliest locals on the planet.
The room itself was clean and cool, the full size fridge was a great addition, complimentary Rum and coke, a nice touch indeed. bathroom was clean and functional. Our room was serviced everyday.
There are always cleaners, security guards and maintenance guys around, The hotel is very well maintained.
All the staff are friendly and help you with whatever you need.Bar staff know you almost instantly, I think I told them my room number once, then they all seemed to know it from then on.
The Bar area is perfectly situated, right next to the beach. sipping Daiquiri's and watching the turtles in the sea, Or, as happened to us, laying eggs right in front of you, just incredible!
Southern Palms is a brilliant place to stay, great facilities, amazing staff.
Barbados as a whole is Absolutely stunning.

I travel a lot, but have made Brezes my destination more than all others combined. I have been there 17 times. We got married there in 2001. The property went through a magor renovation and re-opened in 2007. I found the changes to me wonderful. It was more than a face lift. Theyy added new rooms, suites, resatuants and freshened up everything else. The key success factor for this resort is the staff. You will not find friendlier or more helpful staff anywhere.
I am an avid SCUBA diver. This makes Breezes an exceptional value becaus SCUBA is included in the price of your stay. I can't say enough good things about this property. That is why I am retuning in two weeks!

We arrived in Happy Bay after long months of hard work and were immediately restores by the exceptionnal view. We've traveled int he Caribbean renting villas in Anguilla, Tortola, St-lucia, Antigua etc... and Happy Bay is the best value.

Living areas were spacious and very well appointed. With a TV room (flat screen, dishnetwork and lots of DVDs and books for rainy days), a computer station and Wireless Internet, it was easy to stay in touch with family.

The rooms were all tastefully decorated with extraodinary tasteful boathrooms (lots of space in the Bathtub and large travertin showers).

The kitchen was fully loaded with great appliances (Bosche and Gaggeneau s'il vous plait).

The pool area was spectacular and we have to admit we did little visiting just simply bathing in the great pool, sipping margaritas and sunbathing. The gazebo area was delightful and gave us views of beautiful sunsets.

Another big plus was the massage table in the Master bedroom that came in very handy.
The housekeeping lady was just a marvel.

The beach at Happy Bay is 5 minutes walk down ( a little more up!!) and was most of the time totally empty !

After a couple days, we met some people that had been in other villas in Lowlands and the Happy Bay area, they came to visit and are trying to change their booking to Happy Bay Villa. They said that in the Happy Bay area, Happy Bay Villa was the best.

Overall, it was simply the best !
