The Gestalt's charm begins to work its magic as you enter via the stone walkway through a flowering garden courtyard surrounded by lofty palm trees. This home features open-air Mediterranean architecture showcasing living and dining areas on two levels, where elegant seagrass furnishings lend a stylish, tropical air, and where shady seclusion looks out to verdant plantings and serene ocean views.

The Gestalt is alluringly decorated in sea and sky blues and white with cheery yellow accents throughout. The adjacent bedroom wing with its four air-conditioned, screened bedrooms and four and one-half baths overlooks the very private pool and a large sun deck with cushioned teak patio furniture and a hammock. A private path leads down to The Gestalt's oceanside dock for diving and snorkeling.

Masterfully designed to combine maximum livability with unparalleled privacy, The Gestalt may also be combined with Steele Point villa, 1/3 mile down the Estate road, to accommodate larger groups of up to 18 persons.

Bose iPod SoundDock for use at The Gestalt, DSL line for your laptop, fax machine (can receive faxes, but no outgoing faxes may be sent from this machine); binoculars, nylon Pack 'n' Play crib/playpen; beach chairs + cooler, if you prefer); + a pathway down to the private dock (the dock will be shared by next-door Blackbeard's Hideaway, when that new villa is completed in late 2007).

Rental Notes
A 7-NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD IS REQUIRED FOR THE GESTALT ALL YEAR AROUND (EXCEPT CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR'S WHEN A 14-NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL IS REQUIRED).

A 4-WHEEL-DRIVE RENTAL JEEP IS RECOMMENDED FOR THE GESTALT.

Steele Point Estate's manager, Rick, lives on the Estate, in a separate apartment building. He is there to assist you with anything you might need, including island advice - but your privacy at Gestalt is completely assured.

**Please note that a new two-bedroom cottage, Blackbeard's Hideaway, is being constructed next door to The Gestalt, but the property owners have promised to keep noise and disruption down to the lowest level possible. The Hideaway should be completed by late 2007.
