The very spacious condominiums were very comfortable with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and modern decor. The views were beautiful overlooking the pool and the ocean. The staff was very accommodating to every need, big or small, and my stay was really enjoyable!

I had a wonderful winter break here. The appartments are well placed to enjoy all of the attractions and restaurants of St James's. They are well finished and serviced and extremely spacious. A 2 bedroom appartment will cater for a family of 4 or indeed 4 friends going away to have a good time. Located between The Cliff and Daphne's mean you don't have to worry about taxis or taking the car out. The staff are very friendly and the place attracted other guests who seemed to have a relaxed air of style. Do not hesitate to book here.

These apartments are finished to a fantastic standard and could not be situated in a better spot right between Daphnes and The Cliff.
An apartment offers so much more than a hotel - especially as here the wonderful staff are more than willing to help with anything you need.
I really couldn't speak highly enough of the place and its people. TOP NOTCH.

Me and my business partner supposed to go on conference trip to Bangkok but in November 2008 the country's political situation was confused and we both had 10 days free time. So, fortunately we found ourselves in a recession trip to Barbados. We were lucky chose Angler apartments it was exactly what we wanted because we did not want to stay in a crowded, five-star, overpriced resort full of tourists.
Apartments were basic level, a spacious, very clean and functional. The coolest in this apartment was a five-star, nearly private beach and you got 4 new friends the owner Chandra with her 3 dogs! She was really very helpful and arranged everything for us what we needed. Because we had enough equipped kitchen available and Food is our hobby we both like to make different, exotic foods when you are abroad. So we did not use The Garden Restaurant much and in addition the island's best restaurants are close and easily reachable. Chandra helped us to rent a car but I do not recommend to anyone to drive the car himself the local (bajan) driving style is left-hand traffic and quite wild. Fortunately there are two kinds of local buses, private and public. If you want to listen great reggae music then choose those yellow private ones! In addition to traffic the island's dangers are the unpleasant water scooters witch you have to avoid when you are snorkeling. Otherwise Barbados feels safe and is very easygoing beautiful island. It is expensive as most of the Caribbean islands but you can save some wise choice of the hotel (like Angler) a lot of money to live on. Probably I will come back to this island and definitely choose Chandras place again.
And the local Rum is good and cheap!

This property was sold by Fairmont three years ago. It now operates as individually owned and operated apartments which are exclusive to owners and rental guests.
The property is managed by an estate company, and the apartments are managed by various rental agencies. This prime location still makes it the best vacation property on the west coast.

I stayed at Angler for two weeks in September with my husband. Chandra arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport. We like doing our own thing on holiday, so we found Angler to be just right for us.
The accommodation is basic, but comfortable and clean. It had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Chandra gave us lots of information, but let us make our own decisions. She also arranged car hire for us, and let me borrow her mobile phone charger.
We only used the restaurant once at lunch. The meal portion was generous and very tasty. The garden was lovely, with lots of birds (and even monkeys).
The beach was just five houses down the quiet road and across the main road. Access was via a private walkway, with the steps down to it. It was quite steep, but had a good hand rail. The small beach was so quiet - it was just perfect. We snorkeled here lots, and followed a small turtle for a while one day.
This was a clean and affordable place to stay in a quiet residential area. There is also a bus stop at bottom of road.

We spent our wedding aniversary here, and it was our third visit (previous visits were 1997 and 2002). How far downhill can you go?
We didn't encounter a patch on previous years. Now, it's generally run down and creaking at the seams. My 67-year-old wife was physically assaulted on the beach (punched by a drunken guest). Neither security nor management were in the slightest bit interested. In addition, when we insisted on police intervention, the management witheld witness statements from the police until the assailent had finished her holiday and checked out. They have a "do nothing and the problems will go away" attitude.
If you come here after reading this, you have been warned. The review insists one star is the minimum. However, this hotel is not worthy of that.

What a tired, overrated, crowded, and noisy hotel with virtually nothing to recommend it other than some nice meals in the Italian Restaurant (same daily menu for two weeks, though).
Some 800 guests were sharing about 200 loungers - and maybe 50 umbrellas.
You had to be on the beach/pool early - or sit in the sun all day!
If you are going to Barbados, go to another hotel.

They have lovely staff and good food. However, otherwise it was a shabby, noisy hotel.
There were only 12 beach umbrellas for upwards of 800 guests. There were guests reserving loungers by 6.30 am. Otherwise, there was no chance of having one.
The management was poor, and entertainment was third rate.

My husband and I stayed here last month. The hotel was beautiful. It was clean, and in a nice part of Barbados. The beach was to die for, and the pools on the property were tropical and really great.
Also, we were upgraded to a two-story suite (without request) overlooking gardens, pool and the beach.
The staff - without exception - was helpful, friendly, and not looking for tips. The room maintenance was exceptional - done up every day.
The restaurants were just ordinary, and very expensive we thought. But there were great cafes right across the street, and the management had no problem with guests even bringing outside food in for lunches on beach or by pool.
They had the greatest rum punches I have ever had at the bar, and the manager's party was rocking. It was a little quiet at night - just karaoke a few times, but that was fine with us.
We would absolutely recommend this hotel. It was a great value.

We had a wonderful stay at Amaryllis Resort in Barbados. We were there from October 26th to November 5th.
The staff was pleasant, very helpful, and responsive to any request. The room was clean, adequately furnished, and was quite comfortable.
The sea was about a one-minute walk away, and the Caribbean blue and was most pleasant. Also, the breakfast was good. I prefer English style. Three cheers to the chef!
In addition, the ambience was relaxing. I would definitely return to Amaryllis on my next visit to Barbados. I will recommend Amaryllis Beach Resort without hesitation!

This was such a lovely place to stay during my holiday.
The location was perfect. It was very close to all the shops, beaches, restaurants and the all important St. Lawrence Gap - which is full of exciting nightlife.
I found all of the staff I dealt with at Worthing Court to be helpful and attentive. They all made me feel that no request or order was too tall for them to fulfill.
In addition, the staff on the front desk, and especially the manager, were all very polite and knowledgeable about things to do and see in Barbados.
This hotel is very reasonably priced (compared to other places I looked at staying). I would recommend it!

This is a great and central hotel. It is just across from the beautiful crystal clear, blue ocean of Barbados. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff and management are pleasant and efficient.
I would highly recommend the general manager, Alicia, for her excellent "all around" service to all the guests.

I have been staying at Worthing Court Apartment Hotel for the past four years, and have always enjoyed my visits.
The staff is very welcoming at the front desk. Also, the cleaning staff is excellent. My room was cleaned and in order when I got back on evenings. Also, the grounds were well taken care of.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone if asked, as I have had no complaints. What I also like is the location the atmosphere in general.

What a pleasant and central hotel! The rooms have been recently upgraded with new furniture, and the staff and management are exceptional!
On Thursdays, the manager invites all the guests to a cocktail party from 5:30-6:30 by the restaurant - and the BBQ after is delicious! The hotel’s service is excellent, too.
Worthing Court is centrally located, and the rooms are cleaned well. I will definitely be returning!

It was a first class and informative tour.

Ted is a people person, and ensures that he and his driver Hal look after all the people on tour.
Ted is a fountain of information - mixed with his unique humor. This is a trip not to be missed. It is a reminder to us all, not to take things too seriously - especially on holiday.
We look forward to visiting again, and going on another trip.
