Pitcairn Island is the friendliest place you will ever visit. With a population of around 50, the island community welcomes every visitor with true hospitality. Pitcairn—the eventual destination of six of the mutineers from the HMS Bounty—is now inhabited by the descendants of this famous voyage.
Explore the history of the HMS Bounty. Visit the grave of John Adams, the only mutineer's grave to be preserved. Travel up the Hill of Difficulty to Adamstown. Perched on a steep hill, the town holds Fletcher Christian's Bounty Bible at the local church. The anchor and cannon of the Bounty, salvaged by a National Geographic team, are on display for public viewing.
Amid breathtaking flora and fauna, you will find a paradise awaiting you at the site of one of maritime history's greatest events.
