Flamingo Beach had very friendly and helpful staff. Visited: July 2006
Posted by farcf3
My husband, our 1 and 1/2 year-old daughter and I just visited a few weeks ago. Besides all of the construction going on, we had an amazing stay at this resort and on the island.

We found everyone to be very helpful and friendly, and if we had a problem, they worked hard to solve it to make us happy. Also, the weather was perfect!

The surroundings were full of shops and restaurants, all just a short walk away. We were able to walk every day to breakfast and dinner outside of the resort.

There was a lot of construction going on, but it will all be worth it. I will definitely visit again, and I look forward to it!

Flamingo Beach boasts a wonderful location, and beach, rooms, and service that are "A+". Visited: January 2006

After lots of research, I chose to stay at the Flamingo. After arriving, I checked other places I had contemplated staying in. Ffor the money I paid, I am so glad I decided to stay here.

The rooms were at the beach, so there was no crossing roads to get to the beach. The desk personnel were most helpful. I had view of the parking lot, and asked if I could have a better room if available. I got an ocean- and pool view room.

The location was between both capitals of Marigot and Phillipsburg, with a row of restaurants close by. I can't say anything bad at all. The staff was friendly and most accommodating.

I will definitely stay here again! Go and enjoy your stay here!

This is a relaxing, excellent place to stay. Visited: July 2004

My wife and I have stayed at this resort for the past two years in a row in the July/August time frame. The visits have ranged from 11 days to 14 days. Needless to say, we love the place.

It is very relaxing, but yet close to activities. You do need a car but cars are pretty cheap on the island. It is hard for us to say just why we like this place so much. The people at the resort and on the island are great. The island has a lot to do. We bought a time share here over the Internet sight unseen. We own another time share in Cabo San Lucas that is much more elegant and more upscale (that we have used extensively), but this place just has a very good feel to it and has become our favorite.

I can highly recommend this place. Try to avoid the newer units up on the hill away from the beach. They are larger, have washers and dryers inside but being on the beach is the best.

This was our best vacation ever! Visited: March 2004

We've been to many islands, but this is by far the best! It is truly Paradise, and Flamingo Beach is the place to stay.

They provide incredible rooms, perfect views, friendly and efficient staff, and a beautiful beach. There are also lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance, but it's well worth it to rent a car to see the rest of this gorgeous island. There are also some magnificent sunsets!

I love to party, and this is the perfect place for it.

This resort was awesome. Visited: March 2003

The landscaping was beautiful-very tropical. Everyone was extremely friendly (unlike we noticed on the French side) and security was everywhere which also made being here more enjoyable.

This was our first trip to St. Maarten, but it definitely will not be our last. And we will definitely stay at the Flamingo Beach Resort again and again and again.

I just can't say enough about the resort and the beautiful island.
Keep it up, St. Maarten--we Americans need the break from our hectic world here.

I am a totally different person after visiting the paradise of St. Maarten and its laid-back lifestyle.

People actually honked the horns on their cars to say "hi" and to let someone in front of them--not to say "move out of my way".

Again, we will definitely be going back and if we could, we would take up residence there.

It was truly a paradise! Visited: November 2002

I just returned from my second trip to Saint Maarten and the Sunterra Flamingo Beach Resort. My friend has been going for the past 20 years and just loves it here. It is his home away from home.

The staff was very friendly, always helpful, and always doing little things to help make your stay more enjoyable.

The beach, grounds, buildings, and tiki huts were very well-maintained and it was a pleasure to be here.

The water was just beautiful, the views were gorgeous, and the people were very friendly. We saw lots of people from last year and I particularly enjoyed playing with all the wonderful, sweet children.

I hope to return someday.

What a treat! Visited: July 2002

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was close to shopping, and there was a huge variety of restaurants, a nearby casino, and - of course - the beach.

The staff was wonderful, and the facility was beautifully maintained. There were lots of quiet spots to sit and enjoy the wonderful views. They offered many activities for guests. We enjoyed our private balcony, which provided great views of Simpson Bay. It was truly a paradise on earth!

I never thought for a split second that a place like St. Maarten existed.

I loved every moment here - especially on our resort. The people here were the friendliest people in the world. I can't wait until I return.

A beautiful resort Visited: April 2001

This was the first year using our timeshare at the Flamingo and we were very pleased with how the resort looked, it was beautiful! The beachfront was a great place to relax with chairs and umbrellas. There was a nice beach bar for drinks and burgers. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait until next year.

It's difficult to imagine a more pleasant stay. The location, the facility, the views were all simply wonderful. For years we tried to trade to St. Martin, and finally purchased a week at the Flamingo Beach Resort. Fortunately for us, the resort turned out to be one of the very finest on the island. We just loved it. We can't wait to return there, 6/2000.

Great place. Wouldn't consider anywhere else. Visited: November 1999

We have been timeshare owners for 10 yrs. and own 3 weeks at Flamingo. We have made so many friends during our stay here. We now count at least 15 couples we get together with every year. We cannot say enough about the staff.

A typical example is when my husband suffered a heart attack in St. Maarten 4 yrs. ago. The staff and management were most caring and helpful and offered to let us stay as long as we needed to.

We love King Beau Beau (anyone have his e-mail address?) and all the wonderful restaurants, beaches and shopping in St. Maarten. We count the weeks until we're back in Paradise (our home away from home).

We have owned at Flamingo since 1991 and think it is great. Visited: November 1999

We return on our two week ownership every year and have for the past 8 years. We would go more often if we could. The Flamingo Beach Resort is wonderful. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The parties and special events the staff puts on are great fun. We have made long lasting friendships there and see some of the same friends year after year and always have an unforgettable time. Visit if you can.

We purchased a time share at the Flamingo pre-construction. We have been very satisfied with our decision to do so. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the location is great and the sunsets fantastic.

I have recommended this resort to friends.
