La Petite Auberge des Iles specializes in French, Creole, and international cuisine with indoor and outdoor seating at the marina. It is located in the Marina Royale in Marigot where expensive sailboats and motor yachts sit at its doorstep.

It is a very cozy, small restaurant with excellent food at very moderate prices. They serve mussels, lobster, seafood, meat, and salads. An extensive, reasonably priced wine list is also available.

They are open for lunch and dinner, and closed Sundays.

A Taste of Bliss serves up contemporary American cuisine elegantly presented on the al fresco terrace. They offer a casual lunch, weekend brunches, fresh fish, and dinner in an open air setting on the waterfront. You can also hang out by the lagoon style pool as you sip tropical drinks.

Menu options include tuna, fresh Caribbean lobster bruschetta, slow baked salmon, seared red snapper, and grilled sirloin.

They are closed Mondays. There is also an open air night club and hangout bar next door.

Anand is a bit hidden. It is located in a small alley just around the corner of L'Escargot.

Antoine is located on Front Street in Philipsburg, and they offer waterfront dining with great views.

The menu is French/Créole cuisine with a hint of Italian flavors and ingredients.

The restaurant is open from 11 am to 11 pm.

Aqua is located on Airport Road in Simpson Bay.

It's a casual open air restaurant on the water (lagoon-side). They serve sushi, and have an eclectic menu with a variety of dishes.

The decor is Moroccan with cushioned benches and nice pillows.

This charming bistro serves tarts, fresh crêpes, hearty salads, pizza, and hot or cold sandwiches on fresh bread. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. 120 Old St., Philipsburg.

It's a little out of the way, but worth a stop. It opens at 11 am, and they only serve lunch. There's no phone, and they don't accept credit cards.

Bali Bar is located in Marigot at Marina Royale.

This bar, lounge and restaurant serves excellent tapas and Moroccan specialties in a very relaxing atmosphere. They also have a sushi special on Saturdays, and live music some nights.

After seven wonderful years at the Caravanserai Resort we have decided to move Bamboo Bernies to an all new space located at the sprawling five star Sonesta Maho complex.

With authentic island music playing in the background, you can enjoy a drink or a meal outside on the deck, which extends right out over the surf as the ocean laps against its walls. You can also dine inside.

They are open for lunch and dinner from 11 am until 10 pm. They are closed on Tuesday.

GREAT FOOD! Cute intimate atmosphere. Very clean and updated. Located on the pier at Oyster Bay. I had the bisque -- Wonderful! I paired that with the Fried Shrimp appetizer. It had several dipping sauces. Pretty good. The other 3 in my party had different fish dishes. All were great. I would very much recommend this place especially if you're staying at the Westin Dawn Beach because it's within walking distance and delicious!

This cafe offers simple food at affordable prices. This prix-fixe menu includes snails, soup, fish, and coq au vin, among other items.

Parking may be a challenge, as the restaurant is located in an alley. Reservations are strongly suggested. Also, the restaurant is open only for dinner, and closed on weekends.

Looking for a little night life and great food? Blue Martini Restaurant is where you want to be! With a menu that would make any mouth water, Blue Martini exceeds expectations. Not only known for their food, experience true island culture as the reggae music plays in the back round.

The Boat House is on Airport Road in Simpson Bay, and is a popular spot for steaks and seafood on the waterfront.

The restaurant building is a colorful Creole-style cottage.

Located on Kim Sha Beach, this casual eatery and beach bar is open daily from 11 am to 11 pm.

They serve steaks, seafood, and pizza, and feature live entertainment four days a week from 5 pm to 8 pm. They also offer beach chairs and umbrellas free for customers.

Captain Oliver's is perched on the border of the French and Dutch part of the island, and is entirely constructed above water at the Oyster Pond marina.

The menu includes fresh fish and seafood specialties. Saturday night they offer a lobster buffet. You can also select your own lobster from their large tank, and watch sharks and turtles underneath your glass bottom table!

Located on the Dutch side of the friendly island of Sint Maarten in the center of Maho, Cheri's cafe opened in 1988 and has continued to grow in popularity ever since. 'A jewel within a jewel!'

They offer a good variety of dishes for lunch or dinner. They also serve a good American-style breakfast.

Located harbor front in Marigot, this restaurant is a great place for seafood. Try the lobster or grilled snapper.

They also offer a buffet Wednesday through Saturday evenings.

Located at the boardwalk at the corner of Speetjens Arcade in Philipsburg, Chez Delphine serves up a nice variety of breakfast, snacks, and succulent main courses, including lobster, at lunch time. They also serve dinner on some nights.

You can eat in a cabana, or dine with the sand under your feet.

Overlooking the Marigot Harbor, Claude Mini-Club has served traditional creole and French cuisine for over 35 years.

The cheery decor is enough to warrant a visit, but the dinner buffets on Wednesday and Saturday night are immensely popular. Items like conch soup, lobster, roast beef, blackened goose meat, and other dishes are featured.

They also have live music every night.

This is a multi level open air restaurant and bar with a fantastic, different menu - tapas and entrees including their signature "monkey gland" sauce.

They have a nautical atmosphere and offer live music, a pool table, and a traditional dart board.

Great seafood restaurant that overlooks Grand Case Beach.

Menu items include chicken breast stuffed with escargot;
Roasted duck breast with citrus and red berry sauce; Mahi mahi served with pineapple confit and balsamic vinegar; and roasted red snapper "creole" sauce and avocado.

The Greenhouse Bar and Restaurant has been in St Maarten since 1986, a mainstay on the island. "No one beats our Tuesday nite parties and definitely the food and service are number one."

This open-air harborfront restaurant in Philipsburg balances a relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and quality food with a just-right, flavorful bite.

All the beef served is Black Angus, and some people say the burgers and steaks are the best on the island. If you're seeking something spicy, try the black-bean soup or Jamaica jerk chicken wrap.

Island Flavia is in Philipsburg on the boardwalk near Oualichi.

It is a casual restaurant, and the menu highlights traditional island cuisine. They also offer a variety of grilled meat and fish specialties, salads, burgers and subs.

They are open every day from 10 am to 8 pm.

Jimbo's features Tex-Mex food grilled over chips of smoking Mesquite. Menu choices include hamburgers, lobster fajitas, nachos, and some special vegetarian options. Jimbo's 32 oz fish bowl Margaritas are also popular.

Enjoy open air dining and a swim-up bar set around a pool with two waterfalls.

Joe's is located in Simpson Bay. The decor isn't fancy, but the food is great, and reasonably priced. You can eat in, or get a take out and have a picnic on the beach nearby.

Tuesday through Saturday they offer "All You Can Eat Ribs".

Beautiful vistas, great food, soft breezes, and friendly staff. Visit Kakao Beach for a light snack a quick drink, or complete lunch.

Favorites like fried calamari or spicy accras (fried saltfish cakes with a spicy sauce) or sushi. They even have hamburgers and a variety of pizza. Kakao is famous for its 2- and 4-person thatched-roof dining areas and even a 6-person table in a rowboat!

This is a great lunch spot in Great Bay.

You can enjoy authentic Surinamese or local food while you sit outside on the terrace on the beach.

This little restaurant is known for their great coffee, but the rest of the menu - including gourmet burgers, pizza, salads, and fruit frappés - is pretty impressive.

Your dining experience is enhanced with a view that includes ruins from an old salt storage area, a small waterfall, and a huge ficus tree. Outside dining is pleasant, as almond trees shade it so well. Also, nets are installed to keep nuts and leaves from nailing unsuspecting diners.

Kokomarina is a very nice and cozy beach bar restaurant serving American and French food. $1=1Euro (cash only). It is located between Mexicano and Baywatch.

Menu selections include starters like goat cheese toast salad or tuna tartar with coconut milk and lemon; and main dishes such as encrusted sea scallop slices in curry sauce and lamb cutlets with garlic cream.

Desserts, cocktails, beer and wine are also available.

For over thirty years Joel and Sonya have been entertaining diners in their colorful Créole cottage on Front Street in Philipsburg. Stroll down Philipsburg's new boardwalk to the center of town and cross over to Front Street, newly-refurbished with cast iron lamp posts, brick sidewalks, and hundreds of palm trees. It's a short walk and it's easy to follow the odor of garlic browning from our kitchen or the sounds of Edith Piaf wafting from our dining room.

I have been to St. Martin twice in the last year and they have so many wonderful restaurants but this was my favorite and my favorite cuisine is not Italian. It is in Cupecoy at the Atlantis Casino. We went there the 1st day of our stay in St. Martin. We loved it so much we went back the last day. There were 8 adults in our group and all of us voted it as our favorite restaurant of the trip. It was very reasonably priced with large portions. My sister and I split a salad and entry and we could not even finish it, we were so full. But, it did not stop us from getting coconut ice cream, which was to die for! It was sooooo good! I highly recommend this wonderful place.

La Rosa Too is open for dinner only, and they are closed on Sunday.

This casual restaurant specializes in traditional East Indian and Tandoori cuisine. The menu includes vegetarian, chicken, lamb, mutton and seafood specialties.

They are open daily for dinner, and open for lunch Friday through Saturday.

Located beach side in Nettle Bay, Layla's is a beach bar and restaurant. The menu changes all the time here, and it's a fun place to have a good French cuisine lunch.

It may be a bit hard to find, since it is not located right on the road. You have to go on a dirt road through a gate, and it is next to Hotel Royal Beach. Just look for the big Layla's sign.

Located harbor front in Marigot, this typical French Brasserie is a great spot to people watch.

Le Bec Fin is on Billy Folly in Simpson Bay, and has been a St. Maarten mainstay for over 20 years.

They offer French cuisine in a fine dining setting, and provide beautiful ocean views. Choose from a fixed or vegetarian menu, with items like Foie Gras with Porto and Ginger Sauce, Tuna Tartare, and New Zealand Rack of Lamb, among others. Open every day for dinner only - 6 pm to 10 pm.

Located on white sand beaches, this restaurant/art gallery/upscale boutique is a must when visiting Grand Case! Experience sophisticated dining in a tropical beach setting while staring across turquoise waters over to Anguilla.

You don't expect to find first-quality Argentine meat on an island where foodies seek out French cuisine and seafood, but here it is.

The restaurant, decorated with cow-print chairs, has some of the best beef in town. On Fridays, there is an all-you can-eat barbecue ($21.95) plus a live steel-drum Caribbean band. Specialties are juicy, free-range steaks, complemented with a good helping of potatoes and salad.

Non-red-meat-eaters will find chicken, fish, and even vegetarian selections on the menu. Vinos from Argentina are featured on the wine list.

This small restaurant is located in Marigot, and is opposite the stadium, near the Marrakech. They specialize in Asian and Antillean cuisine.

Decor is charming, and the food is nicely presented. They serve fresh spring rolls, shrimp beignets, duck, sauteed crab, and shrimp, among other specialties.

Consider coming here for lunch, as it is sometimes closed for dinner without notice.

French style food on the West end of Marigot. They offer a fine dinner menu, with specialty items like cream of mussels and asparagus soup with tarragon, black bean soup with sour cream and red onions, or sweet potato vichyssoise with curry chicken empanadas.

Mario's is easy to find. The bright blue drawbridge over the canal is hard to miss, but there is even a neon sign there that says "The Bridge".

Mark's Place is located in Philipsburg at the Grand Marche.

Menu items here include Acras, Calamari Cocktail, a nice selection of salads, local seafood, steaks, creole chicken, and goat stew.

Located on Dawn Beach, Mr. Busby's serves fresh local lobster and mostly local cuisine.

They serve an extensive breakfast and lunch featuring fresh ingredients.

At night, Mr. Busby's turns into "Daniels by the Sea", for fine dining.

This harbor front restaurant in Marigot specializes in French Cuisine with an Asian touch.

They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Located on Front Street in Philipsburg, Old Captain Restaurant serves sushi and other Oriental specialties from China, Indonesia and Japan, specializing in international seafood dishes.

They serve lunch or dinner in a casual setting, and deliver anywhere in the Philipsburg area. Friday night is Karaoke "Sound & Sushi", and they serve Sunday Brunch with a great buffet.

Oualichi serves up mostly pizza and burgers. Front Street, Philipsburg.

Indoor or outdoor dining is available. The decor is a bit of nautical whimsy with a glass-covered bar lined with sand, various shells, and other beachy things.

No dinner is served on Sunday.

Located on popular Orient Bay, enjoy great food in a great atmosphere.

This Orient Beach beach restaurant boasts stunning views and incredible food.
