This hotel is so wonderful. It has great views, and
is beautiful on the inside, too.

This place is a mess. I paid over $22,000.00 for a two bedroom suite at the Hanalei Bay.The sale pitch sounded great, the tour of the grounds and rooms were awesome.BUT! When I booked my week what I got was heartbroken. My suite was filthy, the room smelled of rotten garbage. The bathrooms were filthy and a mildew smell all about. The staff was heartless and useless, it took me three days to get two double A batteries for my T.V. remote. All I can say, is that I regret buying a timeshare here. My overall timeshare experience is not what I expected.

It was very low key and relaxing here. Visited: October 2002 |

We have stayed here twice and have enjoyed it because it was so low key and quiet. The grounds were lovely and it was close to whatever we needed, but remote in its own way.
We even enjoyed the "cocka-doodle-doo" of the roosters in the morning. It was especially nice having the kitchen facilities in the studio suites with the amenities we needed to cook with! |

The Hanalei Bay Resort is comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Guests have use of a full kitchen, which is very convenient.
The grounds are meticulously maintained and dining is also very good. |

The Hanalei Bay had lovely grounds with views of the Bay. It was well kept, and the town was close by.
Golf, swimming, beach activities, and tennis were all available. We're going back! |

Beautiful Views at Hanalei Bay. Visited: May 2000 |

Stayed here for 5 days in a mountain view studio. The view was beautiful and the room was okay. It had a little kitchenette so we made our breakfast and lunch, but ate our dinner out in Hanalei itself.
This resort has many tennis courts and the pool is gorgeous with a fantastic hot tub. There are lots of flowers and the views of Hanalei Bay are wonderful. The beach is down a long path that you can walk or take a golf cart down or up. The Princeville Hotel is at the bottom of the pathway directly on the beach. The beach is nothing great but the views are (there are many beaches that are fabulous and private).
They have a lounge area that is open-air and nice for a cocktail. We did not eat dinner in their restaurant. They do have timeshares here, but they don't get on your case about going for a presentation. We found the rooms needed upgrading, as they were dull and tired. The staff was decent.
