And with the option of participating in tennis, golf, shopping, or the beach close by, guests will find whatever tickles their fancy. Buttsbury House is fully staffed with a cook, maid, laundress, gardener, and a night guard.
This home is situated on the corner of the Polo Field, in just over an acre of mature gardens, with views of the Caribbean Sea. Built under the guidance of architect, Ian Morrison, the property has been immaculately maintained, consisting of a central, heated swimming pool and sunbathing area, around which the house is constructed.
On the sea side, there is a large sitting room with picture windows to frame the view, while ensuring the occupants are kept cool by a constant breeze. The house has a television/video room, and an air-conditioned private study, which can double as a bedroom, as well as a large verandah, with an electric awning to provide a haven from the sun.
The master bedroom, which overlooks the pool from a second story on the north side, is air-conditioned, with dressing room, a marble bathroom with separate shower, and a secluded balcony surrounded by tropical flowers. On the pool level, there are four air-conditioned double bedrooms, all with marble bathrooms and lots of cupboard space. One bedroom also includes a single bed nursery or nanny's room.
