Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, adjacent to the historic St. James church, and minutes away from popular Holetown is this charming 3 bedroom beachfront villa.  This is the perfect hideaway here on the gorgeous West Coast of Barbados.
Palms and other exotic fauna frame the entrance, which opens up into a spacious dining room and leads directly to the sunken open plan living area. A smaller breakfast area and newly installed bar expand the room to make it ideal for entertaining.  Large French doors open out onto a terrace, covered in cool, clay tiles, where you can look out over the lovely landscaped gardens beyond.

The two bedrooms in the main bungalow-style house are accessed from a cozy wooden stairway and are both bright, with lovely wooden vaulted ceilings, A/C and lots of closet space. Large doors open to a joint balcony, which overlooks the lush tropical garden and Caribbean Sea. The property is furnished and decorated with a blend of West Indian art mixed with traditional and modern furniture.

A separate guest cottage is accessible from the main patio (though it also has private access through the gardens at the side of the property), and it features a studio bedroom, small kitchenette, bar and living/dining space, as well as its own private patio.

A small garden pathway leads directly onto the beach. The famous Folkstone Marine Park is a short walk along the new boardwalk to the south and features plenty of opportunity for snorkeling.  It is also directly in front is a small bay, ideal for morning dips watching the sunsets. The outdoor shower is available to rinse off from a long day at the beach.

This lovely beachfront property offers quiet privacy, but is only minutes from five star dining, shopping, nightlife, the popular Limegrove Centre, and other amenities of Holetown.

Great Family Vacation House

Church Point Four, Barbados villa review

My husband and I, along with our two adult children and their friends (6 total), stayed at Church Point 4 for a week. The house is as beautiful as pictured and the ocean breeze kept us comfortable. We were taken care of by all of the staff, and they made sure we were always comfortable. The beach was great (just a little busy on the weekends) and the chairs in the yard were perfect for enjoying the sun. There is fantastic snorkeling a short walk down the beach. The house is located in a great spot within walking distance to many restaurants and the grocery store. The highlight of the trip was when a family of green monkeys stopped by for a visit.
Overall, I recommend Church Point 4 as the perfect vacation house.

Everything went smoothly while planning our trip and Andrew was great to work with. He made sure that we had everything we needed for a great vacation.

A nice and quiet place with some improvement to make

Church Point Four, Barbados villa review

We spent a very pleasant stay in Church Point Four. The villa is very nice, with a great garden and direct access to wonderful beaches. Certain rooms did not feel as fresh, such as the kitchen or the bathrooms. The rooms have no shutters and the curtains are white, transparent, and allow the daylight to pass through from the first beams. It woke the children very early, and for the other guests it is not ideal.

The service of cooking begins at 9 am, thus we had to prepare our breakfast ourselves since we were woken at 6 am. It is not a problem in itself, but it’s a pity to lose a total rest. On the other hand, the staff is nice and discreet. The service of cooking is correct, but if we had to compare with the service in Saint Lucia, I shall say that it was lacking creativity. As for the housework, there was nothing to say except that it was a little unpleasant to have worn out, but clean, hand towels.

The children adored the house and the terrace is wonderful. The closure of the main gate with a padlock was not very practical, especially during the heavy rain we had.

Overall, the stay was a success and we are rather happy there. We met several times with the family of green monkeys staying in the huge trees of the wonderful garden, it was funny.

Andrew was perfect! Great service from WhereToStay.
