Corainder Cottage offers its guests the best of both worlds - convenience and privacy. With a swimming pool, and only a short walk to shopping, restaurants, the beach and water sports, Coriander Cottage is perfect for a couple desiring an easy, yet private island getaway.
Coriander Cottage is a wonderful one bedroom, one bathroom cottage located right on Grace Bay Beach. Offering an open plan living room and kitchen, swimming pool, and elevated gazebo/crow's nest, this charming cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway for two.
With vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans, guests can open the doors and welcome the natural island trade winds or enjoy the many modern conveniences such as full air-conditioning.
Caribbean charm is found throughout Coriander Cottage. The living room is designed with hand cut stone and travertine marble floors, and offers such modern amenities as a flat screen Cable TV and stereo system.
The living room is separated from the kitchen by a granite bar with bar stools. In the kitchen guest will find a side-be-side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, smooth surface stove and oven, blender, toaster, and all the equipment guest will ever need for their vacation. The kitchen also has solid wood cabinets and granite counter tops.
The king sized bedroom also has beautiful, high cathedral ceilings and travertine marble floors, with French doors leading out to the pool patio. There is a large TV in the bedroom armoire. The en-suite bathroom has a double vanity, large wall mirror, magnifying mirror and hair dryer.
From the kitchen/living room area two French doors lead out to the swimming pool and terrace which is surrounded by palm trees and wonderful tropical foliage. Several chaise lounge chairs are available for relaxation and sunning. Several stair-steps will take guests up to the elevated gazebo where they can enjoy the excellent views of the sparkling sea, or watch the sun set and the stars rise.
The beach directly in front of Coriander Cottage is the western end of famous Grace Bay Beach. This area of the beach sits away from the hotels and condos, yet is within walking distance to several different restaurants. From the cottage guests can walk for miles on uninterrupted sugar-white sand. Smith's Reef, with some of the best snorkeling Providenciales (Provo) has to offer, also begins just outside the door. Here guest can simply wade out from shore and snorkel on one of the best reefs in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Please note, however, that there is a rocky strip between the sand and the sea, as well as some rocks in the sea. The rocks disappear entirely a few hundred yards down the beach, but some sturdy water/beach shoes are a good idea.

Coriander Cottage, Turks and Caicos reviewVisited: May 2016
Our stay at Coriander was as advertised, with only a few minor suggestions. The Cottage was located just a few steps from the beach and Smith's reef, which provided great snorkeling. However, it was unfortunate that the Villa does not provide any beach chairs/umbrella. We ended up purchasing chairs on the island which was pretty pricey and leaving them at the Villa, so hopefully they remain for future guests. The onsite nightly security guard was great to have, however we never felt unsafe at any time on the island. The back doors did not activate the alarm when opened, which should be repaired. Overall, great stay and I would recommend this Villa to anyone looking! The service form Andrew at WhereToStay.com was great, no complaints.
