The villa was beautiful and the views were to die for. It is convenient located to restaurants and shops.
It was stocked nicely with all the necessities.

Jean and Johella the concierge were excellent helpful.

We had a wonderful two week stay at Fields of Ambrosia. The view overlooking St. Martin is beautiful from sunrise to dusk when the lights come on in Phillipsburg. It is a peaceful and lovely setting. The layout of the house is excellent. We enjoyed the large shaded terrace where we ate outside and lounged in the afternoons. The portable stereo speakers were great! Wifi worked well. Lovely master suite. The bed was very comfortable. Marius, the concierge was incredibly attentive, lovely to work with and helpful, responding to any needs or questions about the house or the island in general. He put us in contact with Maxime at SXM Culinary Services a local personal chef who was excellent. The housekeeper, gardener and property manager were also very nice, responsive and helpful.

The house in general though could use some upkeep. It needs some basic maintenance. The irrigation pump seemed to be broken and ran constantly during the night. The staff knew of the problem and then turned the system off while we were staying there. The stove top needs repair and the kitchen faucet needs replacing. There are tiles missing in the pool. With some general repairs and upkeep, the house would look more fresh and function more smoothly. Overall though, the staff was incredibly attentive to us and we liked the house and it’s location. We had a wonderful vacation!

We first worked with Jean last year when she helped us with a trip to Anguilla and contacted her again this year because she was so helpful. She initially discussed with us the character of several islands and finally directed us to St. Martin. She then provided a nice selection of villas to look at that would work well for our needs. Lori, the Concierge was also very helpful with logistics and attentive to our requests.
