Fischer's Reef is a wonderful venue for entertaining and relaxation! The Infinity pool, beach cabana, multiple dining tables inside and out, (2) 75" LED TVs as well as Sonos sound system, and sandy beach just steps from the pool are the perfect set up for a some R&R!
This is a large 8 bedroom villa, which is unique as the villa actually sleeps 20 (16 adults max, though). It has (4) King Suites, (3) Queen Suites, a twin bunkroom suite and a pull out sofa. (Lower rates for 12 or fewer people using 6 BR only). Three of the bedroom suites on the lower level open straight to the oceanfront pool and beach.
The indoor living & dining areas upstairs are furnished with high-quality upholstered furniture and decor. There is also a downstairs living area with kitchenette and 75" LED TV for movies, games and sporting events. A wide staircase separates the upstairs from downstairs, keeping each floor very quiet from the other. Perfect for late-sleeping teenagers.
Large modern kitchen, large refrigerator, chef's (gas) range and cooktop, microwave, etc. Breakfast table for 8, although the multiple dining areas, in and out, there is plenty of seating for 20 guests. Laundries both upstairs and downstairs. Exterior spiral staircase connects the balcony with the pool deck. wonderful elevated views of the reef and pool/beach area.
The beaches usually have plenty of white sand, but also can have spots of rocky "ironshore" with natural rock formations. The closer you get to Rum Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as swimming. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear foot protection (pool shoes or fins). The prevailing breeze (trade winds) from the east also make flying insects less of a nuisance-many of the homes in Rum Point don't even need a screened porch.
The big draw to this area is the proximity to the "Rum Point Club"; a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach…many watersports, a restaurant, bar, grill, gift shop and pick-up beach volleyball games. (www.rumpointclub.com ) It is from the Rum Point pier that the 65' catamaran departs to stingray sandbar for snorkeling trips. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar and marina. Lastly…there are (2) large resorts in the east end that offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery store, liquor store, gift shops, SUBWAY sandwich shop (and even a coffee/pastry shop). These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfers, kiteboarding, ocean front pools and bar service.
NOTE: On-island professional manager lives in the small cottage located closer to the gate near the road. Manager's cottage is heavily landscaped and private from the villa. Close enough to reach out in need...but far enough away so as to preserve our guests's privacy.
