Great Bluff Estates sits just above the sea near Grand Cayman’s Northside bluffs. The villa is slightly elevated above the water, and every room has windows to draw in the sunshine and ocean views.

A circular, terra cotta driveway leads to Great Bluff’s impressive exterior. Around the back of the house, there is a freshwater pool that’s heated in the winter, a covered veranda, and a sundeck with loungers. The veranda has a sink, mini fridge, and counter space for serving snacks or cocktails. A full bathroom and shower gives guests a place to rinse off before heading inside. This level also holds a hammock and a family-style dining table. Stairs lead down to the lower level’s thatched gazebo, fire pit, and loungers. A concrete path winds to the beach and the sea, and amazing snorkeling spots are a short swim away.

Inside Great Bluff’s vaulted Great Room, vibrant artwork and ceramics mimic the vivid blue sea. Cushioned armchairs and sofas face the flatscreen TV and the view, while two arches frame the gourmet kitchen. The flatscreen TV has cable programming, Apple TV, and a DVD player. The kitchen is stocked with stainless steel appliances, generously sized countertops, and ample storage. A cozy dining nook sits off the kitchen, and the formal dining room seats 10. There are multiple refrigerators, wine coolers, and wet bars to accommodate large parties. The screened sunroom between the pool deck and the Great Room is the perfect place to spend warm afternoons. A washing machine and dryer are available on site.

In the east wing, there is a queen suite with a small sofa bed, a library, and shared bath. The jack & jill bathroom connects to the den, which has a queen pullout bed and gorgeous ocean views. In the west wing off the dining room, there is a queen suite with a small library, a reading nook, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. On the second floor, there are two queen suites and the master suite. The oceanfront queen suite has a reading nook, balcony access, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The garden queen suite has a reading nook and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The master suite stretches across 1,500 square feet of the upper level and features a media room, balcony access, a study, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a soaking tub.

Great Bluff Estates is within 10-15 minutes of several restaurants, both fine dining and casual spots. There are two large resorts with manicured beaches, scuba diving, water sports, and gift shops just five minutes away. Guests at Great Bluff Estates are also Platinum Level Members at Silver Thatch, which provides exclusive access to the fitness and business center, a 10% advance booking discount for private Silver Thatch scuba and snorkel charters.
