Know Before You Go...

Little Sab is a single-bedroom home that is great for vacationing couples or small families, and it's the kind of villa that makes you feel like you've discovered something new in Caribbean relaxation. The one-bedroom cottage sits in the middle of a yard that shows off lots of island vegetation, perfect for nature lovers or adventurous little ones. Guests enjoy the rich coziness of the bedroom, kitchen, and outdoor dining area, and they especially enjoy how close it is to St. Jean's Beach and all the hot spots around it. All you have to do is cross the street to get there!

More of a garden cottage than a lavish estate, Villa Little Sab is positive proof that a St. Barth vacation does not have to be larger than life. The compact villa gives guests an intimate version of the carefree island living for which the Caribbean is so beloved. And although it is not large, the rental home is certainly luxurious, designed to make the most of its space and keep guests comfortable. That said, anyone who settles in here is unlikely to spend too much time in the house, because it is built on private property directly across the street from the Tom Beach Hotel, popular La Plage restaurant, and St. Jean Beach-you can get to the beach or to brunch without even putting on shoes.

Villa Little Sab is also more versatile than its layout implies. By itself, it is dreamy for honeymooners or any couple wanting a romantic getaway, a private cocoon surrounded by leafy trees with views that are tapestries of green. It can also be rented together with Villa Le Sab right next door, with which it shares the same understated design DNA and easy Caribbean elegance. This garden hideaway for two turns into a mini compound for couples traveling together or families with children (10 and up).

Villa Little Sab itself is lovely and straightforward, with a combination bedroom/sitting room, where the floor, bed, walls and couch are all soothing white. A sliding glass door runs the length of one wall, and a bathroom is tucked behind one of the corners. The well-stocked kitchen is ample enough for everyday cooking, and both the kitchen and bedroom open onto a covered terrace with a dining table, a nice spot for breakfast as you listen to the sounds of the birdsong.
