Porters Villa is nestled within the renowned Porters estate. This iconic property along the island’s West Coast is centuries-old, and offers a stately welcome with a winding driveway through an enchanting mahogany forest.

Porters is divided into two wings. The first has coral stone and the villa’s original exterior architecture, and the second has modern, spacious design. Lush gardens frame Porters, and a small lily pond leads up to the main house’s private pool. The pool sits at the center of a large deck surrounded by loungers, foliage, and antique stone walls. A series of arches lead into the open-air living area, where guests can prepare drinks at the bar, lounge beneath the ceiling fans, and take a break from swimming in the nearby pool. This pool is part of the estate’s main house, but is within walking distance from the cottage. Porters Great House Cottage also has a gym with free weights, cardio machines, and a full-length mirror.

Chic design and modern furnishings elevate the villa’s interior. The living room is complete with calming décor, a large sectional, a study, and cable TV. The dining area flows into the garden and features coral stone walls, a large metalwork chandelier, and marble floors. The dining room is attached to the home’s main corridor, which leads to two bedrooms in one direction and the cottage entrance in the other. The kitchen is modern and spacious, with marble floors, quartz countertops, an island, two sinks, stainless steel appliances, and an espresso machine. There is also a small laundry room right off the kitchen.

The original wing holds the master suite, which has tiled floors and large windows to maximize the natural light. The master suite offers a king bed, air-conditioning, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms are identical, with walk-in closets, ensuite bathrooms, twin beds that can be made up as king beds, and unobstructed views.
