Luxurious and beachfront!
Shambhala is a Sanskrit term that translates to a place of peace, tranquility, and happiness. With an open floor plan, three miles of beachfront, and an ocean view from every room, this villa owns up to its name.
Plantation shutters and outdoor seating run along the oceanside veranda. Al fresco dining and a BBQ grill are under the veranda as well, and are perfect for sunlit lunches and starlit dinners. The 40’ infinity pool and stepping stones lead to the ocean, where the beach stretches for over a mile in either direction. Shambhala also provides kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and beach chairs. Renowned architect, Rafael Amuchastegui, designed this 7,300 square foot beachfront villa to flow seamlessly inside and out through the use of individual pavilions and walkways. Each of the four pavilions are securely linked through open-air walkways with floor-to-ceiling wrought iron gates, Tuscan columns, and bordering gardens. The main living area consists of a Great Room, a separate kitchen, and a reading alcove. A cathedral ceiling and arched windows give way to stunning ocean views, and cushioned furnishings provide relaxation for every guest. The formal dining area is near the breakfast bar and comfortably seats 10. The kitchen boasts granite countertops, a Wolf six-burner stove, a fully-integrated SubZero fridge, and a Miele dishwasher. The alcove is furnished with love seats, chaise lounges, a TV, and a small library.
The villa features two levels of living and sleeping space. The main level features two master suites, which both open to the pool deck and ocean views. These suites feature king beds, ensuite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, and bathtubs. There are two other bedrooms on the main level as well: one with a queen bed and the other with two twins that can be made up as a king. Both have ensuite bathrooms and ocean views. The lower level provides privacy and independence for the fifth suite, which has its own living area, bathroom, and queen bed. Shambhala also has a gated driveway.
Shambhala Villa is worlds away from busy resorts, yet minutes from shopping, restaurants, casinos, and nightlife. Kite Provo and Provo Ponies are nearby for unique Turks experiences.

Fantastic Shambhala - dream vacation
Shambhala Villa, Turks and Caicos villa review
Our group of 5 couples enjoyed every aspect of Shambhala. The big, open family and dining room has captivating views of the pool and ocean. We cooked, dined, and lounged in this awesome space every day, and it never got old! Our best times on the trip happened in this room - with music and ocean breezes to accentuate the view.
The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our needs - having two refrigerators was critical for our large group! The infinity pool and hot tub were even better than the pictures on the website. All the seating areas gave our group plenty of options for downtime or togetherness. We loved the beach! It was clean and clear, with walking and wading areas in both directions. We walked to the Shore Club a couple of times for drinks and lunch, we rented jet skis and visited the shipwreck, and we spent a ton of time under the umbrellas taking it all in.
The comfortable bedrooms had good airflow, but I would recommend bringing sleep aids. Anyone who stays up late will permeate the vented bedroom windows. Everything was clean and bug free, and housekeeping in the middle of our stay helped a lot.
We felt safe in the house and on the beach, there were no solicitors or unwanted visitors. Horse riding access to the beach beside Shambhala was pretty cool. We didn’t ride, but we watched them wade through the ocean.
We enjoyed WhereToStay’s recommendations for boat charters (Okeanos), restaurants (Caicos Cafe, Hemingways, da Crab Shack, Sharkbite and more), and golf at Provo. Shambhala was a fabulous villa rental - I highly recommend it, and hope to visit again!
