Know Before You Go...

Baraka Point is one of my favorite villas. It has a ton of privacy, and access to not one, but two beaches. You can spend your days snorkeling around the house’s reef, sail off the coast on the Catamaran, or jump on the sea trampoline. There’s a Beach Buggy, sea kayaks, and nanny services for the kids, and fitness classes, a private chef, and spa treatments for you. What more could you ask for in a villa?

Private Beach, Chef and Spa/Yoga Pavilion

Baraka Point is a beachfront estate with full resort amenities and staff. The estate sits on a private bluff over the water, nestled between the reef and a series of boulders along one of the island’s quietest beaches.

Baraka Point guests have access to three beaches that are all within a Beach Buggy ride of one another. The main beach comes equipped with a SONOS system, padded loungers, umbrellas, and an oversized day bed for ultimate entertaining. Water sports are available off the beach, and there’s tennis onsite.  Guests can cook al fresco at the wood-burning pizza oven, beach BBQ, or bonfire pit. The infinity pool curves around the lawn, and outdoor showers are strategically located throughout the estate. Guests will be totally pampered by the housekeeper, gardener, manager, and chef. Sunsets over the sea kick off each evening, and there’s no better place to enjoy them than from the observation deck just below the villa. Tropically manicured pathways connect the sleeping quarters and Main Pavilion.

The expansive Main Pavilion features open floor plan living, entertainment, and dining spaces. Stay entertained in the Game Pavilion, which is equipped with a billiards table, home movie theatre, conference facilities, and a fully-stocked wet bar. Yoga and Pilates sessions in the Spa and Wellness Pavilion, along with an air-conditioned gym, and an al fresco fitness deck, keeps guests trim. Sleeping quarters for up to 16 guests includes suites with king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms, sitting and dressing areas, flatscreen TVs, private terraces, and ocean views. The five bedrooms are divided into three separate structures. One holds the Master Suite, and the two bilevel structures each hold a Master Suite and Family Suite. The Master Suites each have a king-sized bed and a private entrance. Each Family Suite has a king-sized bed and with two single beds, each in separate rooms that share a main entrance and bathroom. There’s also a Queen Suite in the Game Pavilion on the ground level.

Baraka Point Estate is a 15 minute drive from Spanish Town’s supermarket and fine dining, and a short walk or buggy ride from three beaches and tennis courts. This luxury destination is ideal for those who want chef service, a full staff, stunning sunsets, and a beachfront location.

Somewhere Between Paradise and Heaven

Baraka Point, British Virgin Islands villa review

Somewhere between paradise and heaven, is Baraka Point.  This estate was perfectly perched on a point that offered us breathtaking views from morning to sunset accompanied by the soothing sounds of the ocean no matter where you stood on the impeccably tropical-landscaped property.  We found the staff to be warm and down to earth- a real sense that each of them loved what they were doing and they did it well.  The food prepared by chef Liz was absolutely amazing….I’m not sure any of us ever left any crumbs on our plates! The decor created such a feeling of warmth and rest within each room.  While visiting, we learned that “Baraka” means “blessed.” And that is exactly what our time spent at Baraka was- blessed and unforgettable.  Our time spent here far exceeded our expectations.  It was the perfect setting and feel for our week long girl’s trip.  My hope is to come back next year with my husband and 2 children because there is so much to do and enjoy on the property.  I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be refreshed, renewed and pampered in paradise!

The expertise offered by Shawna from was so very vital in this trip planning process. I love their tag line of, “Know Before You Go!” It’s so true!
She knew the best places to go and see and where to eat - making every moment of our trip useful, beneficial and extremely enjoyable.  I wouldn’t book another Carribean trip without her knowledge and assistance!
Peace & blessings to you! Christina P.
