This villa is simply perfect in every way. Perched high up in the hills with glorious breezes, it gives you a fabulous view of lovely hillsides, the sea, and Buck Island. The villa itself is very private, and perfectly appointed. The three bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and quite pretty; the bathrooms are large and great; the living room and kitchen have everything in them that you could want in the way of dishes, etc. The whole place is beautifully decorated, full of elegant and whimsical little touches; we kept noticing new things every day we were there. The pool is really large; my husband loved swimming in it every day. For me, in December, it was a little cold (not the weather, which was perfect, but the water); but they have a great thick raft that I could float on without getting wet—a fabulous, thoughtful touch! The villa is close to Christiansted, so it’s easy to drive into town for a meal or to go to the pier to take a snorkeling tour out to Buck Island. It’s also very close to the Buccaneer Resort, where you can go to take a swim off the beach or walk on the iguana-laden trail. I really can’t say enough about how glorious this villa is. We hope to return.

Our experience working with WheretoStay and with Shawna was fabulous. Shawna was so helpful in answering every one of my questions, promptly and thoroughly. She helped us make restaurant reservations before we arrived, and she gave us great advice about car rentals and other things. When we arrived at the St. Croix airport, someone was there waiting to take us straight to the villa and helped us settle in. One night, when my husband lost our villa keys, we phoned to have someone let us in and someone came within minutes and was SO nice to us! He didn’t express any irritation. We found the keys the next day, thankfully, but it was really nice to be treated with such kindness when something unexpected occurred. The housekeeper who came midweek was also lovely and gave us good advice about nearby beaches and other things.
