Wonderful Views and a Great Week Long Stay
Magic View Villa, St. John villa review
The beautiful views each morning were some of the absolute best we’ve had on the island and we’ve been to St. John numerous times. We loved how the bedrooms were separated (great for couples or families with older kids). The team at the property make sure you are teed up for your trip and have everything in order (this is a great thing if you are newer to the island or new to booking a villa on St. John). Only negative is the pool is on the smaller side, but we are the type that don’t spend a lot of time at the villa except for the mornings and evenings after dinner in Cruz Bay. We would stay at this property again. Enjoy!

Magic View Villa, St. John villa review
We really enjoyed staying at this villa on the island of St John. The view was probably the best we had seen while on the island. It had everything we needed when visiting the beaches (beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, etc.). We will be back!
Shawna with WhereToStay is great, she was very easy to work with.

Spectacular Views
Magic View Villa, St. John villa review
We loved this villa and the views. Make sure you pack a pair of binoculars! The villa is well laid out, private and super comfortable. It is a short drive to town and the grocery store. The road is steep but worth it for the views!
Beach chairs, towels and beach bag are all top quality. The house is equipped with good wifi. Verizon cell service does not work anywhere on the island.
Excellent working with Shawna. Love that it is all electronic.

This villa boasts a magic view for a magic vacation!
Magic View Villa, St. John villa review
This was our second visit to St. John, and the second time we rented a villa. This home was lovely and perfect for the four of us - my husband and me, his sister, and her husband. The views, as others have commented, were spectacular. There were nice breezes, and just the right height above the water to allow for complete privacy.
Although there were neighbors on both sides, there was a lot of foliage so that there was only a “peekaboo” view of the folks on the king bedroom side of the villa. And, everyone quieted down in the evening so we felt like we were alone.
The kitchen was nicely equipped, and had a table with two chairs. There were (I think) three other chairs at the bar, so we could all eat together. Outside the kitchen was a nice set - table and four chairs. They were comfortable and allowed us to enjoy the view while eating my famous spaghetti and meatballs!
The bed was very comfortable, but they are raised so you had to climb up into them. The bathroom was nice, but I wish there had been two sinks. The king bedroom shower was large and open.
We did not spend a lot of time in the living room, but when we did, it was comfortable. Outside the living room were two chairs, (one with an ottoman) so when the four of us were there, we had to improvise.
The pool was very small, but just enough to get wet and cool down when the sun was hot. There was plenty of space to sunbathe (I know it’s bad for you, but we loved doing it!).
This made for a very nice and relaxing vacation. The restaurants were great (Fatty Crab - great Chupacabras which are made with tequila and green chiles, The Equator/Sugar Mill, Morgan’s Mango (Tuesday is lobster night), and the Lime Inn (Wednesday is all you can eat shrimp).
We would definitely rent this villa again, as it is well maintained and a great location - just a short drive to Cruz Bay town. Thank you Branners for sharing this great home!

We were mesmerized by the panoramic views and quiet seclusion of Magic View Villa.
Magic View Villa, St. John villa review
Magic View Villa was located 400 feet up a hillside overlooking Rendezvous Bay and St Thomas Our family of four enjoyed the open layout, quiet mornings and spectacular sunsets.
The furnishings were new and luxurious, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the family room - with its flat screen TV, WiFi, and bar - was entertaining.
The breezy location kept us cool enough so we rarely needed the AC, and the pool was romantic and inviting. Not wanting to share a room with his sister, our son slept well on the ultra-comfortable queen sleeper sofa.
Although the kitchen was well-equipped, we were an easy ten-minute drive from Cruz Bay restaurants and only 15-20 minutes from the beautiful beaches. Stargazing evenings and colorful floral landscaping kept reminding us of the paradise we were living in.
We would recommend this villa to any couples or parties of six wanting to experience the paradise of St. John. It was simply “Magic”.

View was awesome! A few drawbacks, but overall a good choice for the money.
Magic View Villa, St. John villa review
We enjoyed the villa’s beautiful view at night and during the day. Magic View was not hard to get to, since the roads were paved. It has a good location, since it’s just a short drive from town. It’s been remodeled nicely, and has pretty decor. Nice towels and things for the beach were provided, and the beds and pillows were comfortable! Overall, I enjoyed the place and loved the island, which we explored most of the day!
Shawna is awesome! She was very helpful, friendly and prompt.
