Great Updated, Clean House with Awesome Outdoor Space and Amazing Views

The house overall was great and we loved it. Plenty of space to include incredible outdoor areas. The house was well appointed with kitchen supplies and everything we needed.
I had a great experience working with WhereToStay and Betsy. Betsy was very helpful in assisting me with all aspects of preparing for the trip and checking in ensure we had everything completed and ready for our group.

Mar Azul, St. John villa review
Kismet is a meticulously maintained villa with gorgeous views and incredible landscaping.. The local managers are extremely responsive and accommodating. The only issue we faced was lack of water pressure for the first five or six days. We had assumed that it was a systemic problem and didn’t inquire about the issue which was an error on our part. After mentioning the problem to the manager it was immediately resolved (required a filter change).
The kitchen is well stocked with spices, large double ovens and works well for cooking for a crowd. There is also an incredible outdoor grill and prep area.
There are some daunting stairs as you arrive and access to the two lower bedrooms could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
One other big plus was the connectivity to Wi-Fi throughout the villa.
Betsy proved to be very helpful with clearing up some discrepancies in the description of the various bedroom suites and was relentless in her “arrival/departure” info. As we were renting 2 houses it was a bit of an overwhelming logistical exercise requiring patience on both ends.

Mar Azul is exceptional. From the stellar view to enjoy coffee in the a.m. or a happy hour/barbecue to the attention to detail provided in the large great room ~ simply an outstanding villa. The pool and expansive multi level decks offer a relaxing setting for post beach or boating days. After dark we enjoyed both the lights from St.Thomas and the stars while enjoying after dinner drinks and coffee.
Betsy Carmichael made the rental process a breeze for our group of five. She took me seamlessly through the step by step process and seemed to anticipate my questions in providing arrival details. We have already been in touch with her about a villa rental for next spring or summer, maybe both.

Amazing
Mar Azul, St. John villa review
Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) just finished another amazing week in St. John. Mar Azul turned out to be the perfect house for us. After beach hopping each day we would relax by the pool before heading out to dinner each night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast in the mornings. The deck was the perfect spot to watch the sunset each night. We can’t wait to come back to visit.
Our experience was great. Jean had everything setup for us including Warren G taxi service.

Wonderful home
Mar Azul, St. John villa review
We loved everything about Mar Azul. The only thing I would change is how the pool filters. It’s such a slow pump that it really doesn’t clean it very well. Other than that my family and friends and I had a great time. Would definitely go back again.
I have used where to stay for three years in a row, and will use them again for
my next trip.

Villa was amazing!! Great views, very quiet, new furnishings and appliances, the pool, Bluetooth speaker system, small fridges on all levels…made this a villa we would return to, no doubt.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Mar Azul for 2 weeks in March 2023. The house was in immaculate condition and the location and views cannot be beat. I would highly recommend this villa and look forward to our next visit!

Mar Azul is all you want it to be and so much more. There were views from every room in the house, the kitchen was upgraded with nice furnishings and mostly everything you need to stay away from home! ( I would recommend a sharp knife to make meals with, otherwise all you need!) The SUNSETS were just what I was looking for. They were perfect every single night. Stunning to say the least! The pool was awesome! We left floaties and pool toys as we knew our kids would appreciate those! There are hermit crabs and iguanas around the Villa which were fun for the kids. Perfect for two families, several couples etc. We will be back for sure!

Mar Azul was the perfect house for our group of seven. First - the house is beautifully updated. The kitchen, the bathrooms, everything. The pool was the the absolute best way to end every single. The sun set view from the house is unbelievable. And the property management team was the best. So quick to answer questions and quick to respond when we needed a new propane tank for the grill. We honestly could not have stayed at a better house for our vacation. Highly recommend!!!
Shawna and the team were absolutely fantastic! What impressed me the most is the clear and organized arrival packet that they send the week of the week of the trip. It literally has everything in it that you would need to know. Throughout the entire process, Shawna and the team always answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using WhereToStay.com. i will definitely be using them again!
