St. Kitts is full of exciting distractions. For hikers, Mount Liamuiga is a challenging hike that culminates at the large crater rim of the volcano. For something a little less strenuous, you can walk through the gorgeous landscape provided by the rainforests. The exotic plants and creatures you'll see on your trek will make this a truly special memory of your stay on St. Kitts in your villa or other rental accommodation. While you're hiking, keep an eye out for a glimpse of the African Green Vervet monkeys. These little critters roam freely on St. Kitts and are very appealing.
For something a little more out of the ordinary, travel to Romney Manor on the side of the volcano. This was such a fun dive operation. The crew were so helpful, the boat ride was fast and short and the site was wonderful. You have to dive the M.V. River Taw. The guides at Dive St. Kitts gave an excellent tour and so much information. I wrote a page just on this dive site in my logbook. They are located at the Birdrock Beach hotel right where we stayed.
