We stayed in Five Turtles with our kids, aged 3-9 and my parents. The lay out and rooms were perfect. It was nice to have the bedrooms divided (2 on each end of the house) for when our youngest needed to go to bed. The bedrooms were spacious and the fixtures, amenities, and kitchen supplies were fantastic. We were very comfortable there for the week. The outdoor shower was excellent! It was especially great to have the second fridge. Pool and beach supplies were excellent and much appreciated. You can’t beat the walk to the beach. There were a fair number of people (a little more than I expected) that would walk through “our” beach and sometimes even be sitting right in front of the house if we weren’t out first thing in the morning but everyone was very friendly and considerate and my son met some friends for the week. We saw a few small fish during the week, found a star fish and a live sand dollar, but otherwise no major sea life and seashells were mostly tiny but fun to collect. The water is very calm here and shallow for a very long stretch- minimal rocks in the shallowest water but then turns to pure soft sand very quickly.

The mosquitoes were quite relentless, especially in the morning and evening so be prepared for that. The only possible ways I could see this villa would be improved would be to have a larger indoor table to have a dining option for your entire group when mosquitoes are biting or to trim back a bit of the bushes/trees to get a better view of the ocean from the pool.

Overall I do highly recommend this villa and would definitely go back. As a bonus treat yourself to an in villa massage by Phenomenal Mobile Spa. It was the best massage we’ve had in any country!

The most beautiful water I’ve ever been in. The direct access to the serene beach was just what my soul needed. The three teens in my home and my husband enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. The home was comfortable updated and spacious kitchen was supplied w all we needed and sheets towels etc were high quality. Quick drive to airport and Grace Bay yet far enough away to feel private. Special place!

We stayed here for a week with our family and friends and it couldn’t have been more perfect the location was everything! Our kids got to swim in the pool everyday and then when we wanted to go on the beach we just walked out the back gate and the beach was so shallow and calm and just perfect for our kids. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone!

Five Turtles Villa was everything promised and more! This enchanting four-bedroom villa was tranquil and beautiful, and perfectly accommodated our three generation family. We really enjoyed the layout of the house’s centrally placed family gathering area and well-equipped kitchen separating two serene bedroom wings. We honestly felt like we were on our own secluded beach from sun up to sun down. Having beach access on such a quiet and beautiful part of the island was truly a treasure. Access to the villa’s kayaks and paddle boards played heavily in our choice of Five Turtles. Use of the paddle boards and kayaks in the cove, along with the villa’s plethora of floats, beach chairs, and beach toys, offered us the option to stay active, explore, or sit back and relax with our feet in the sand. We will be back! The only thing we needed to be better prepared for were the attacks of the mosquitos. They were a bit much during our afternoon swims in the pool, dinners on the pool patio, and nightly walks down to the beach - just come overly prepared. While we’d love to keep such a gem a secret so it’s readily available for our next getaway, we’ve found that we can’t stop sharing with everyone how fabulous our vacation was at Five Turtles Villa.

From start to finish, we were extremely impressed with the entire booking process and WhereToStay staff! Andrew made our selection process seamless with his insight, recommendations, and knowledge. The villa staff accommodated every need from greeting us at check-in and stocking the fridge with beer, snacks, and essentials, to the day-to-day assurance of a clean and well-maintained villa and grounds. Any staff member that we communicated with was attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect.

This is the second time we’ve booked with Wheretostay.com and visited the Five Turtles Villa in Turks and Caicos. This was such a beautiful villa, it’s well-designed with optimum proximity to the tranquil Taylor Bay beach. The waters were so placid, which was perfect for a family with little kids. Plus, the villa was well stocked with all sorts of kitchen, beach, and pool items. We had a lovely dinner with Chef Latika, who Andrew recommended. The curry grouper was delicious! Even my picky, 6 year old son gobbled up the fish cakes.

Andrew was very helpful in answering all our questions and getting back to us promptly. His recommendation for a private chef was spot on!

VERY comfortable villa, well appointed with the exception of annoying/almost unusable couch/chairs in the TV area (low seating configurations), which affected evenings in a big way. Julian is efficient but service people didn’t show up to fix dryer as expected.
Paid $92 in AC fees - would be nice to see meters that can be corroborated.
Lastly, 250 yards (not 50 as advertised) of really shallow water is a lot to wade thru to reach deeper water.
