Etoile de Mer sits between calm and uncrowded waters at Taylor Bay and powder soft sand at Sapodilla Bay. This three-story villa is surrounded by palm trees and abundant gardens that make this home feel like an escape from reality.
The main level holds the pool and terrace, a living room, kitchen, screened porch, two bedrooms, and a wraparound balcony. The pool is surrounded by a terrace, with loungers and al fresco dining nearby. A partially-enclosed gazebo shades the outdoor living area, which has rattan furniture and a hammock for afternoon naps. A ceiling fan overhead works with the breeze to cool the space. Inside, the villa is decorated like with cheerful colors that mimics the tropical exterior. The living room has ample space to lounge, and opens to the wraparound balcony. Watch a movie or the latest game on the TV, or curl up to read in one of the plush armchairs. There’s a study in the dining room, and room for 8 at the table. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and cookware, with access to the wraparound balcony and a breakfast bar.
On the lower level, a self-contained queen bedroom with a receiving area than can be accessed from the exterior. The foyer has two sofas for lounging, and the living room has cable TV and plush furniture. The bedroom has a garden view, and an interior staircase nearby leads to the main level. The upper level holds the master suite and its ensuite bathroom. The suite opens to the balcony and overlooks the bay, and the bathroom has a sunken bathtub and a large two headed shower.
Etoile de Mer is near Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay, but is also a short drive away from Chalk Sound. Chalk Sound is a natural lagoon that’s a popular choice for kayaking and paddle boarding. Las Brisas is nearby, a great spot for a meal with a waterfront view.
