Gorgeous villa located in the hills above Cruz Bay.
We were 3 couples who had this planned for the past year.
The property was nicely appointed from the decor, to the grounds and the view was absolutely amazing.
The rooms were all equal size, the A/C worked well and the bathrooms were huge with really nice showers. Plenty of chairs outside for sitting and relaxing. Pool floats, beach chairs, coolers all provided. Outside grille and fridge for beers and drinks.
We all could not get enough of the view. It was spectacular and never got old.
We rented a car and drove to the beaches all within 20 mins. We would call for taxi in the evening into town because the roads down into town are quite steep and parking not easy. If renting a car be prepared for some really winding roads and some challenges.
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this villa and would stay again.

We had an amazing week at La Bella Vita. The Villa is the perfect set up for a large family or multiple couples. We loved the 4 master suites surrounding a nice gathering space. The outdoor area was fantastic - exactly what we had wanted - an outdoor entertainment area with plenty of sun decks. The Villa was extremely well stocked - another pleasant surprise. The gated community was an unexpected bonus.

Shawna was amazing to work with! She patiently answered my many questions and her attention to detail was just what we needed when traveling during covid. Her knowledge of St. John and her recommendations were very helpful. She was extremely attentive and her follow through was amazing. We so appreciated her customer service - from helping us pick the perfect villa for our family vacation to arranging all of our transports to making sure we had a birthday cake and balloons to celebrate a special occasion.

This Villa could not have been any better. Perfect for a group of 8, with 4 sizeable bedrooms, all with large modern bathrooms. The living/kitchen area is very open and spacious.

The backyard, pool and the views, say no more. Absolutely incredible.

Betsy may be the best travel consultant I have ever worked with. She was attentive to our needs from the day I called her, and ensured all of our trip/bookings went to plan. She is the prime example of someone who really cares about her clients.

This oasis of beauty made our week a true paradise. We have been coming to St. John for years and this Villa is by far a favorite. The outdoor space, is amazing. The pool, outdoor bar, kitchen and plenty of room for cocktails,/ fun gatherings enhanced our vacation. We will be back!!

We stayed at La Bella Vita July 29-August 5th 2020. This house is amazing! It was perfect for our group of 8. It had everything we needed and then some. The exterior spaces are huge. The pool is refreshing. The fact that it is behind 2 security gates made us feel very safe. The water is drinkable due to the use of a UV filter. AC throughout was great plus fans everywhere. The drive to town was an easy 10 minutes. The huge bathrooms with the outside showers were fun! We will definitely stay here again!

Shawna was more than helpful throughout the planning/ booking process. She answered at least 20 emails concerning questions/information our group had about the villa. Most of these emails were responded to within the same day. On the day of arrival the ports closed so we could not get to St. John. Shawna called me personally to tell me the news and to offer help to find accommodations for the evening. The level of service I received from Shawna is hard to find these days and it was greatly appreciated!!! I hope to work with her again soon!!

La Bella Vita was an absolutely wonderful villa for our family of five. The views overlooking St. Thomas are stunning all day and spectacular at night. The house itself was very nice, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and spacious. My only complaints are that the dishwasher was not working, and the lights on the lower patio stairs need to be installed.

We sailed with Poet’s Lounge Sailing Charters to fantastic snorkeling spots, and we highly recommend you do the same! We rented a Jeep from L&L, which was very easy. Andrew from WhereToStay was so accommodating while helping us find La Bella Vita. He was great at keeping in touch and was very easy to work with. Thank You, Andrew!!!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at LaBella Vita. The villa is well suited to 4 couples! We had plenty of room & good privacy. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The outdoor space is wonderful & the views are fabulous! Fresh paint & a little extra cleaning would take the villa from nice to exceptional.

Shawna was fabulous to work with! Very attentive & helpful. She went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable!
