Lone Palm, Cayman villa review
What a wonderful spot! Privacy on the beach, an amazing porch, comfortable pool, and being able to play music through house and porch speakers was a tremendous luxury for us. Kitchen is well equipped with spices, detergents and utensils. Thelda (the property manager) was spot on for any questions or needs, and comfortable beds set us up for continuous days of fun. Disappointing that the sargussum and the rocky beach made snorkeling at the house a limitation but that just gave us more time to enjoy the villa amenities. Betsy and Sharon made certain we knew exactly what to expect at check-in and check-out. A fun, fine trip for our entire family!!
Both Betsy and Sharon were responsive to any questions we had, sent entertainment and dining suggestions in advance and made check-in and check-out a breeze!

I can not say enough wonderful things regarding our stay at The Lone Palm Villa. I have traveled a lot and I must say the accommodations here were fantastic. The villa is so well equipped for anything you may need, I was very surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was as we cooked several meals and had everything that we would need right there. I think whoever owns this villa must be a cook and knew what the needs would be for those who want to really utilize the kitchen. The setting was perfect, quiet and private, rally just a perfect little gem. The place was clean and well cared for. If you want to get away for the west side madness and traffic, this is a lovely spot to relax and unwind. We highly recommend The Lone Palm as well as the agency Where To Stay. Very professional, responsive and a delight to work with. They made our vacation one to remember. Thank you. Well done. Mahalo Jill

Wonderful Relaxing Paradise
Lone Palm, Cayman villa review
Lone Palm was everything and more that was described. The home had everything needed for a relaxing vacation, including two kayaks and two paddleboards for exploring. The wrap around porch was our favorite spot, day and night. Lots of resturants close by for great food options. Ocean Frontiers Dive shop just 100 feet away was one of the best dive shops we have ever experienced.
I will always use Where To Stay in the future. Betsy made the process so easy and provided any information that was needed, especially when questions arose concerning COVID rules. Betsy was always quick to respond. Excellent service. Then once on the island, Silver Thatch was great to work with concerning rentals of coolers, snorkle gear, baby beds, apple TV, etc.

Paradise!
Lone Palm, Cayman villa review
Our family spent 3 spectacular days at Lone Palm. Our trip was abruptly shortened due our Canadian government requesting the immediate return of all citizens due to the CoVid-19 pandemic.
The property was perfect for us. We enjoyed every second of the time we had by playing on the beautiful beach, reading on the perfect veranda, napping on the hammocks, swimming in the warm Caribbean Sea and enjoying the delicious local food.
The owners, very graciously, credited our missed days during these unprecedented times. Thank you for a short, but very sweet holiday!
A huge thank you to the wonderful Sharon and Thelda, you ladies are terrific! You made our arrival, stay and sudden departure, as easy as it could be.
We are already looking forward to next holiday at Lone Palm!

We have stayed at Lone Palm before and re-booked our trip within two weeks of our return home. Our second visit did not disappoint! It was a beautiful week. We can't wait for our next trip back!

We loved our stay at Lone Palm Villa! Every morning when my 14-month old granddaughter looked out the window, she said “ohhhh.” My sentiments exactly, baby girl! The East End of the island is quieter and more laidback. We loved visiting the local restaurants - Eagle Rays’ lion fish tacos are to die for - and being able to walk to a few places. We went to Seven Mile Beach and Georgetown when we felt like it, but mostly loved hanging around the villa. There was an abundance of seaweed, which may continue to be an issue as the oceans are warming, but we just stepped over it and went into the water, no problem. You really can’t fight Mother Nature. The entire deck of the house is gated, which was wonderful because our toddler was wandering everywhere! The house was set up perfectly and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Sharon made everything easy by answering all of my questions beforehand. We loved this house, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Sharon was so easy to work with, and she kept me on my toes by making sure I had all my information where it needed to be. Lol. She responded to any questions I had quickly, and reserved the things we needed from Silver Thatch so I didn’t have to worry about it. As a matter of fact, when I had a last minute question before we left Grand Cayman, she told me how to take care of it! I will definitely use WhereToStay again!

We loved our stay at Lone Palm! We had a beautiful ocean view and spent every morning drinking coffee on the big wraparound porch, afternoons lounging at the beach or by the pool, and evenings grilling dinner and enjoying wine in the hammocks. There are plenty of restaurants close by, and there’s great snorkeling off the beach. We plan to go back soon!

The house and property were wonderful.. the restaurants nearby were great and we didn't have to drive a long distance to get to them. The setting of Lone Palm is very restful, which is exactly what we were looking for. The pool setting was perfect. Thank you!
Our service from WhereToStay was excellent, everything was exactly as we were told it would be. The write-ups Sharon provided were very helpful, like where to rent a car, which grocery stores to visit, and which restaurants to try.

Wonderful Villa

The villa was just fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. We loved its location on the East End, away from the crowds of George Town and 7 Mile Beach.
We'd book through Shawna again. She was very responsive and we had no trouble whatsoever with our booking.

Lone Palm, Cayman villa review
It is a beautiful villa, but it does not quite look like the photos anymore. The house is in a beautiful location with great views and well appointed, with gently used furnishings. The villa is in Gun Bay on the Eastern side of the island, which is perpetually windy. The beach is not great for swimming, but provides good access to snorkeling and kayaking. The coral reef in front of the villa is spectacular. The house is comfortable and provides all one needs on vacation. Renting a car to get to other parts of the island is recommended.
Betsy is wonderful. She helped us keep this booking going for 3 years, through Covid and waiting for borders to open. She is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I don’t think this trip would have happened without her helping us along.
