Blue Diamond is a 13,000 sq. ft. villa on Shoal Bay West with modern interiors, spacious floor plans, and five and a half bedrooms. This villa’s unique flower-shaped design is perfect for large groups, because all three levels have a central area surrounded by smaller rooms in the “petals,” or alcoves.
Blue Diamond’s lap pool has a wading area that guests of all ages can enjoy. The deck has plenty of space for guests to soak up the sun, from the poolside loungers to the oceanfront living area. There’s a hammock for afternoon snoozes and dining tables shaded by umbrellas. Guests can get private spa and wellness treatments in the meditation and massage rooms, or soak in the hot tub with up to 12 people. As if that wasn’t enough, Altamer Resort also offers a private fitness center, two tennis courts, basketball, and a volleyball court to Blue Diamond, Antilles Pearl, and African Sapphire guests.
A grand piano, 21-foot high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows add grandeur to the Great Room. Fourteen guests can feast around the triangular, glass-topped table in the formal dining room. A custom-built semicircle bar leads into the gourmet kitchen, and utility rooms, a laundry room, and a powder room lie in the surrounding alcoves. On the ground floor, there’s a fully-stocked entertainment room with a center bar, a custom pool table, a game area, and an ocean view. In the surrounding alcoves, there’s a massage room, a home theater, and a powder room, so guests of all ages can enjoy this level. Blue Diamond’s interior is fully air-conditioned and has WiFi throughout.
The Master Suite is a private oasis, with its own terrace, office, and ensuite bathroom. The Master Bath has a Jacuzzi tub and an oversized walk-in shower for two. All four guest suites have angled ceilings and skylights to create a bright and airy atmosphere, and they have connecting doors that can open to create two massive suites. Each suite has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. The bedrooms are all on one level together, perfect for families. The villa is staffed with daily housekeeping, butler service, and laundry service.
Blue Diamond is in a private resort, but it has a convenient location only 5 minutes from restaurants and groceries. Shoal Bay West is a few steps from the back door, and Maundays Bay is on the other side of Gull Pond.
