Worth the wait
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
After 2 years of some rebookings due to issues with COVID, my husband & I finally made it to Solaire 3 & were so happy we got to enjoy this amazing property. The villa itself was beautiful inside & out, & the views overlooking the private beach & St. Martin from our pool & outdoor space were spectacular. This side of the island has a great breeze so we often opened up the patio doors that recessed back. We also got to enjoy using the beach & chairs at the sister property at Meads Bay which was a nice option. The staff was all amazing too, from Joan the main villa contact, to the pool/ grounds staff & housekeeping. We would not hesitate to return to this villa.
As always, Andrew is amazing. We have been working with him for over 12 years now since we first used him to book our honeymoon in Turks. We have been back to Turks many times & this is our 2nd trip to Anguilla. He always helps us find the perfect villa that fits our needs/taste. We were especially appreciative with this experience as he helped us with several rebookings of this trip due to COVID.

Pandemic Paradise
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
This was our 5th stay at Solaire Villas albeit a bit different due to the COVID-19 restrictions. It is still one of our favorite places to stay: beautiful accommodations right on the beach with an awe inspiring view of St. Martin (and on a clear day Saba and St. Barth’s). Due to the restrictions of movement on the island the manager of Solaire, Joan, facilitated our trips to the beach, dinner reservations, food delivery, and taxi services. Joan as always was a rock star! She even went out of her way to deliver a medicine from the local pharmacy. I cannot praise Solaire Villas enough although 5 return visits probably says it all. We will be back!
As always Sharon and Shawna provide great customer service. They are always available to answer questions and arrange any service, from grocery to chef catering, flights, & boat shuttles. You name it, they can arrange it!

We LOVE Anguilla!
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
The villa met our family’s every need. It was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the island and the amazing beaches. We loved relaxing in the pool in the evening and seeing the lights of St. Martin on the horizon. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to relax and create lasting moments with our 15- and 13-year old children.
Thank you - Vin Lawrence
Shawna and her staff answered all of our questions, and her input on the island and the villa were spot on. It was a pleasure working with her, and I will definitely recommend her and WhereToStay to my family and friends. Thank you for helping make this vacation one my family will always remember and cherish!

Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
Soliare is a beautiful villa. During our stay, the pool cleaner was broken and the water was ice cold. There was no sense of urgency by the property manager to get it fixed or make us happy. She just said, “people in the other villas are swimming”. There was only one other villa occupied and their pool heater was working.
Pool issues aside, the place was beautiful and peaceful. The view was unbeatable.
I would recommend Solaire Villas for anyone looking for a secluded, luxury getaway.
I loved working with Shawna! I can’t wait to start planning our next vacation with her.

Absolute Perfection!
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
Big thank you to Solaire Villas & Shawna at WhereToStay.com for helping us book an amazing Anguilla vacation. Solaire Villas are exactly as portrayed - truly luxurious with an unforgettable view! The location is quiet and peaceful, but restaurants are easy accessible within a 15-minute drive. Veya was our favorite place to eat! The island may not be up to full speed, but we still didn’t even start to visit all the restaurants we wanted to try. We found the service everywhere to be excellent, and yet relaxed: a hard-to-find combination where Anguilla clearly excels!
Getting from St. Marten to Anguilla was super easy. Fun Time charters met us at arrivals and we were on our way to Anguilla 15-20 minutes later! We rented a car with Junie’s and they met us at the ferry terminal. I would strongly recommend taking a scheduled charter boat from St. Marten. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you Captain Brian at Fun Time charters!
We stayed in Villa #2 and it was very private, as the villa next to it is not yet completed. It would be my first choice for privacy. The furnishings are top notch - Barclay Butera bedding and super-comfortable Restoration Hardware outdoor sofa and loungers. Joan, the manager, and her team took fantastic care of us. The villas offer the convenience and amenities of a top-rated hotel, but the privacy of a private villa. Joan and her staff really took the time to check on us throughout our stay - making reservations for us, offering to book activities, daily housekeeping, and taking more time and care than you would EVER get in a boutique hotel. We love to sleep in, relax by the pool, and enjoy the view - and everyone was friendly and consistently helpful without being invasive. We would definitely come back to Anguilla and do it all over again exactly the same way!
Shawna was incredibly helpful in helping us find the perfect spot! We ran into problems getting there because of snow, and Shawna was extremely helpful rearranging our boat and arrival to the villa. One more thing off our plate during a stressful time!

Wonderful Trip
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
I stayed at the Solaire villa for a few days, what a great time!! The villa is very clean, spacious and well laid out. Plenty of towels, shampoo and soaps. The cleaning staff was in the room each day and ensured we had everything we needed. I can not say enough about the views of St. Martin from the pool area. We spent most of our time just lounging around the patio and pool and it’s very relaxing. The staff at Solaire were very nice and made the trip very enjoyable for us. Anguilla has so many good places to eat and great fresh seafood. Also, I enjoyed the beach at the sister property Meads Bay Beach Villas. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. I am looking forward to my next trip. Kathy and Bill MacGregor
Very easy and all thing went well.

Better than described - worthy of at least 6 or 7 stars!!
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
The villa (#3) was simply amazing! My wife and I were coming from Virginia, celebrating our 25th anniversary. This was our first trip to Anguilla (5/9 - 5/16 2017). We didn’t know it in advance, but we picked the best location on the island - centrally located and on the southern side. We rented a jeep, so it was easy to get to all the beaches and restaurants quickly - even some of the more remote/challenging ones. When we first checked in, the villa was a little warm and the a/c couldn’t get the temperature below about 77 degrees. But with the ceiling fans in every room and the fantastic winds coming out of the east, we quickly acclimated and the temperature was not an issue after that, despite the a/c running higher than where we are accustomed to setting it. In fact, we regularly noticed that the most comfortable conditions on the entire island were at the villa or down at its beach. We did not even feel the humidity! Although there were guests in other villas, we rarely saw them and never down at the beach. The views from the villa and beach of the crystal clear water and St. Marteen in the distance are post-card perfect. We used the awesome kitchen blender to make frozen drinks every day and just stared out in wonder while sipping away! Everything inside the villa was very nice and the beds were super comfortable (better than our Tempurpedic). Delta and Joan could not have been any nicer, informative and helpful! We can’t wait to return!!! Stop looking, rent this place!
It was fantastic working with Shawna! She was very helpful and always responded quickly to my many questions and requests. Her personal experience with the island, restaurants, etc. was invaluable for a first-time visitor to Anguilla. She made everything run perfectly smooth. She kept us informed of every tiny detail, so there were no surprises. The My Trip page is a great feature. I don’t hesitate in recommending Shawna and WhereToStay.com. Thank you!

Solaire Villa is absolutely beautiful. The private beach is stunning. We especially liked where it is situated. The location was nice and secluded but still an easy drive to Meads Bay and groceries at Best Buy.
We would recommend this villa to anyone and everyone!
Sharon was great. We are calling her for next year’s trip.

Immaculate, friendly staff. Very, very private. The villa fits the island—low key and luxurious. The pool and beach were both great and beautiful.
Where To Stay’s service was seamless and responsive.

Wonderful Stay
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
Two of us enjoyed our week stay in Villa #3. It was our first trip to the island and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The outdoor space was great for a leisurely breakfast or an evening cocktail. The kitchen had everything we needed, the air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping is available everyday and provided plenty of clean towels (regular and beach). There is also a phone for use with free calls to the U.S. It is only a short drive to great beaches and restaurants. Tasty’s is really close and we ate there twice. The view is fantastic and there is always a nice breeze. There is a small beach area on-site but not good for swimming only to get your toes in the sand. A rental car is necessary. Staff is friendly and easy to work with. We enjoyed the island, the people, and the villa and look forward to a return trip.
Pleasant. We appreciated the follow-up and detail in answering our questions.

Solaire Vacation
Solaire 3, Anguilla villa review
We just visited Solaire Villa and totally loved it. The location is great, and you’re very secluded. It was great for us, as we liked the privacy. At night, they have a security guard and having him makes you feel even more relaxed. I didn’t feel like our safety was an issue, but it was nice knowing he was there.
The unit is clean, modern, and beautiful. We really loved having the pool to go back to after spending the day at the beach. We didn’t use Solaire’s beach, because it was really windy while we were there.
The staff is amazing, especially Joan and Rosa. Everyone was accommodating and made us feel welcome, even when we went over to Mead’s Bay Villa. Both properties are great and beautifully decorated. This place is great, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
As an added bonus, Shawna is great if you get to work with her. She was more than willing to help us with all of our plans. We would love to use her in the future and would not hesitate to seek her out again. We love Anguilla, and everyone always made us feel welcome!
