All-inclusive Private Island
Over Yonder Cay is a private island in the Bahamas with accommodations for up to 30 guests. Five-star amenities, several tranquil beaches, and breathtaking views make this unique, eco-friendly property perfect for anyone seeking barefoot luxury. There are four villas on Over Yonder Cay, and each is fully air-conditioned and has its own beach.
Over Yonder Cay is powered by renewable energy from three wind turbines and a 1.5-acre field of solar panels. The deepwater marina is home to the cay’s fleet of sailing yachts, fishing boats, dive boats, ribs and safety vessels. Guests won’t have to lift a finger, since the island is staffed with a dive master, a captain, a water sports instructor, fishing guides, spa therapists, yoga teachers, and seaplane pilots. There’s a Beach Club equipped with a surround sound speaker system, a DJ station, a solid dance floor, and a bar where guests can gather for lunch, sip cocktails by the sea, and party all night. A wildlife trail runs around the island for walking, cycling, and jogging, and there’s a nine-hole par-three golf course that guests have all to themselves. The wind and water sports equipment, floodlit tennis court, volleyball court, gym, game room, and movie theatre round out the island’s amenities.
Meridian House is the island’s main villa, and has whimsical Rococo decor that provides an upscale setting. Lush gardens surround the wraparound infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor dining, and covered terrace. The glamorous conservatory has a Steinway piano and a lounge under a glittering chandelier. The formal dining room opens to the island breeze and sunsets on two sides, and the media room has a full entertainment system. Meridian House features two king suites and two queen suites. The 2,300 sq. ft. master suite feels like its own retreat, with a viewing tower, a private garden, a salon, and a spacious bathroom. The three other bedrooms each have a private terrace and ensuite bathroom.
West Sands sits a few steps from Whale Bone Beach, and has panoramic ocean views from its outdoor dining and lounging space, fire pit, and hot tub. It’s open-concept kitchen, dining room, and lounge all feature floor-to-ceiling windows and central air-conditioning. All four suites have king beds and an ensuite bathroom, with two upstairs and two downstairs. One upper king suite features expansive ocean views and a wraparound balcony, and the other has an independent lounging area and balcony. The two lower level suites share a Jack and Jill bathroom. All three suites open to the balcony or terrace.
East Cove is elevated over Exuma Sound and sleeps six to eight guests. There’s extensive outdoor lounging around the three-level pool and balconies, including a hot tub and wicker swings. The open-concept living, dining, and cooking space has a soothing, minimalist design with top-notch technology and chic furnishings. Two of the villa’s suites have king beds and lead to wraparound balconies, while the other two have queen beds and single-sleeping lofts that are perfect for kids. This fully air-conditioned villa is great for families.
South Point is located on the southern tip of the island, flanked by shallow waters teeming with marine life. The villa enjoys spectacular views of both the sunrise and sunset, and the waves lap against the shore. The lower floor has a game room, a kitchen, a dining room, and a lounge; and there’s a hot tub and fire pit outside. The villa’s 550 sq. ft. master suite opens directly onto a wraparound balcony, and the two queen suites share a bathroom. Each of the four villas has satellite TVs, a Kaleidescape entertainment library, a Crestron control system, WiFi, and personal iPads.
