Middle Cay is the perfect-sized, perfectly stocked private island for two families to share for a tropical getaway. The location is easy to get to and is close to Harbour Island where you can find world class shopping and dining. It has two homes that both have their own bedrooms, living areas, and kitchens. There’s also a boat, standup paddle board, kayaks, underwater scooters, and a canoe included.
Private Island
Middle Cay is a luxurious, private island just off the coast of Harbour Island. With a coconut tree grove, two villas, a boat with a captain, and daily housekeeping, this two-acre island combines five-star amenities with a secluded location for the ultimate Caribbean getaway.
The island has two docks, so guests can dock their sailboats, yachts, or rentals with ease. One dock even has an automatic boat lift. A working lighthouse adds nautical charm, a walkway winds around the entire island, and a fire pit makes s’mores a cinch. Fishing gear, a canoe, a standup paddle board, and three kayaks are perfect for spending the day on the sea. The surrounding islands are known for their pink sand beaches, coral reefs, and shipwrecks, so take advantage of Middle Cay’s snorkeling equipment to discover an underwater paradise. Take the boat water tubing, water skiing, to feed the pigs in Meeks Patch, or tour nearby islands. The captain will boat you to Harbour Island, which offers jet ski, boat, bicycle, and golf cart rentals, as well as several restaurants and beaches.
Middle Cay has two homes, and both have WiFi and air-conditioning. The Main House has an open kitchen and dining space with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a dining table that seats 8. Its living room has a flatscreen cable TV and opens to a private patio. Outside, there’s a heated pool and an outdoor shower. In the Cottage, there’s a common area with beautiful, exposed wooden beams and tile floors. The living room has plush furnishings and a flatscreen cable TV, and there’s dining at the bar and main table. It opens to the patio and has three walls of windows that reveal ocean views. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a coffeemaker, and a mixer.
The Main House has four bedrooms and the Cottage has three bedrooms. In the Main House, there’s a spacious master suite with a king bed, three walls of ocean views, a private patio, a lounge, and an ensuite bathroom. The second suite has two double beds, a window seat, and an ensuite bathroom. The third suite has two twin beds, ocean views, and a hall bath. The fourth suite has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. In the Cottage, there’s a king suite with exterior access, ocean views, and an ensuite bathroom. The second suite has two double beds, exterior access, and an ensuite bathroom. The third suite is ideal for children, with a twin bunk, trundle bed, and a half bath in the hall. Daily housekeeping is provided.
Middle Cay is highly accessible. From the airport, its a five-minute taxi ride to the nearest dock and then a two-minute boat ride to Middle Cay. This island provides the ultimate in privacy and luxury, as well as easy access to activities and provisions.
