Our stay at Glitter Bay was a great experience. The complex is in a great location in Holetown and the condos we rented were all clean, fresh, and well taken care of. All the staff we met during our stay were helpful and friendly.

Andrew and the WhereToStay team were really helpful in making our arrangements for the stay easy and stress-free.

Wonderful holiday

Glitter Bay 113 Sea Wind 2, Barbados both review

We had a lovely relaxing holiday at Glitter Bay. The apartment was clean, light and bright and even though it was the furthest from the sea we had beautiful garden views from the master bedroom and spacious terrace. The beach is lovely and there is plenty of space for sun or shade, the beach bar served good food if you don’t fancy walking anywhere at lunchtime. Great location we will definitely return. Andrew was great, very efficient and helpful.

I just returned from a wonderful stay at Glitter Bay 113.

Our fully equipped villa was perfect, and we loved the huge terrace. We thought our beach was far superior to others we saw. Its close proximity to Holetown with restaurants, entertainment and shopping was an added bonus.

I would definitely return in a heartbeat! Thanks to Andrew at WhereToStay.com for all your help.

If you are looking for a wonderful, relaxing, ‘do what you want at your own pace’ vacation, this is the place to be. The Villas at Glitter Bay are beautiful and feel very private. There is no restaurant on site, so after purchasing some groceries for the week, we thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffees on the porch and watched the morning come to life. Our favorite place to eat dinner was Zaccios in Holetown.

The unit itself was perfect for our family with a 14-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy. There were bedrooms - one king and another with two twins. It allowed us all to have our own space. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable and we all slept wonderfully. The full kitchen was more than adequate to make our meals. Our housekeeper, Winnie, was amazing.  We arrived back to our villas every day to a nice clean villa with beds made and laundry washed and folded. Nice!

The pool was great when we wanted a change from the ocean. The beach was great, and we swam/snorkeled in the ocean every day. There was a buoyed area, but you can also swim or snorkel outside of it, just be watchful of sea urchins.

Ryan Marshall of Altman properties was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. He also helped us arrange a few of the activities we wanted to experience. We did the island safari tour (if you can, request Ian Webster for a guide as he made the outing very fun), and the ‘Cool Runnings’ lunch catamaran cruise (amazing, but fairly crowded at the turtle site). We also went horseback riding in the Parish of St. Andrew. 

We dealt with Andrew Macafee with WhereToStay in booking our Glitter Bay vacation. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He went out of his way to call us instead of just emailing to clarify a few things and that personal touch was genuinely appreciated.  He really made us feel at ease as there is always a level of uncertainty when booking something online that you have never seen before.

Thanks to everyone for a fabulous vacation. We would recommend Glitter Bay to anyone!
