Best Trip Ever
Leamington Cottage, Barbados villa review
My trip to Leamington Cottage was simply amazing. Words cannot describe this breathtaking experience.
Andrea took such good care of us, and her food was so good. She washed, folded, and ironed our clothes, so we went home with clean laundry. The Cottage is the perfect place for any couple. My husband and I have been many places and we are very picky, and this cottage will definitely please even the pickiest traveler.
At the villa, there is a tiny bird who will quickly introduce himself to you. Instead of Tweety Bird, we named him Greedy Bird. You must give Greedy Bird a small piece of bread and then he will disappear - if you do not, he will gladly hang around until he’s fed. Greedy Bird was so funny, we had never seen anything like him. Andrea will let you know all about him. He greets you first thing every morning and then again for dinner. We miss him so much. It was hilarious.
The view is something that cannot be described. This was the best trip ever!
Andrew was very attentive, answered all questions within 24 hrs, and provided all necessary information. I have already started researching my next vacation through WhereToStay.

Leamington
Leamington Cottage, Barbados villa review
Beautiful cottage, wonderful place. The support staff was great: John, Andrea, and Dennis. Andrew is great to work with as well. I have some recommendations for improvement: replace the couch- the fabric is heavy, and holds heat. The lack of A/C at night in the main living area is normally ok, but it can get rather hot in the evening after the sun goes down in mid to high 80 degree F temperatures. Also, I recommend obtaining Fox News on direct TV. We were mostly indoors for meals or after dark. The only other recommendation is to improve the sound system for when you watch a movie at night, it is difficult to hear because of the wonderful ocean outside. However, it is necessary to have all main room doors and windows open to try to cool the room down - at least a little. Also, the dining windows are beautiful but need better latches in order to be more secure when we leave during the day to go out on adventures around this beautiful island. But again - we love this place! It is our favorite villa thus far! Thank you.
Our service from WhereToStay, Andrew, and Sharon was excellent!
Could not have been better! :>)

Amazing Trip!
Leamington Cottage, Barbados villa review
Leamington Cottage was just as pictured on the website! My husband and I wanted a tropical vacation getaway, and we got just that! We were welcomed upon arrival by a nice lady named Julie, and the cook Andrea. They were very helpful with any and all needs, and worked around our schedule. I love how private the villa is, tucked away among the trees. We did some eating and sightseeing outside of the villa which we enjoyed, and when we stayed in for a meal. Andrea was a fabulous cook! We arrived happy and we left having been fulfilled with a wonderful experience. I recommend this villa for any couple.
I found WhereToStay.com browsing rentals online. Andrew took care of any questions we had and helped book the rental. He also sent me links to favorite spots and restaurants on the island. We actually did a few on his list! I also like that once you book your rental, Andrew will send you a link to access the “Leamington Cottage” page, which includes all the details for your trip, including grocery list if you prefer to have your fridge pre-stocked. If any questions arose prior to our stay, I would email Andrew, and he was quick with a thorough response.

Privacy and Romance
Leamington Cottage, Barbados villa review
The Villa is better then the photographs. The ability to step off the patio onto the white sand beaches was amazing. The pretty foliage surrounds the villa creating unmatched privacy. The bedroom and master bath are well appointed, modern and fully functional. And yet, the best part of the villa is Andrea. She is described as a “cook”. Believe me this is an underrated title. Andrea’s cooking rivaled and bettered the few restaurants we did choose to visit. Once we sampled her cooking, we indulged in her abilities for the balance of our trip. No need to go out, no need for reservations. Shopping for food was fun as the market is well stocked, albeit a tad expensive. Andrea was prompt, but also left us our privacy. If you seek privacy and a degree of elegance, the villa will be a perfect fit. I suggest you have the car delivered to the villa and arrange for transportation to and from the airport. Driving is Barbados on the coastal road is pretty easy. Navigating from the airport to the villa was an unnecessary stress. Where to stay was great to suggest having the car delivered to and picked up from the villa. The rental car was easy to deal with. Other then remembering that the steering wheel is backwards such that one will turn on the wipers instead of the blinker. But after a few days you do get the hang of it.
Sharon was fabulous. Her initial suggestion of the Villa showed us she understood our wants. She provided us with meaningful updates and a complete listing of activities and restaurant choices. Everything promised was delivered with absolutely no disappointment or added cost.

Everything we could have asked for!
Leamington Cottage, Barbados villa review
We had an incredible time. The entire trip was everything we could have asked for. The people were very nice in Barbados, the water was aqua blue and warm, the food was excellent and we came back refreshed. All in all, I would give it 5 stars. The staff at the Leamington cottage were more than helpful and always friendly. They catered to our every need and knew when to give us some space and enjoy our time together. We took advantage of the rental car and got to explore the island. Since the beach outside was rocky we found ourselves down at the boatyard in Carlisle Bay. Barbados was very easy to navigate and the little car was actually fun to drive.
We also ate at some premier restaurants around the island. I never would have expected the caliber of food that was prepared for us. Our two favorites were the Cliff and Cin Cin. Both very expensive but the food was to die for.
The cottage was private, clean and peaceful. We even had two masseuses come one morning for a morning session on the patio. This was a great way to start the week, we were able to relax at our own place and listen to the waves crash right outside as our breakfast was being prepared. I would recommend this trip to anyone, especially honeymooners. The Leamington was very private and we felt safe staying there.
Thank you again, Sharon, for all your help setting this up for us. If you need to, you can share my experience with others! We’re looking forward to going back sometime in the future.
Regards,
Mark
