The Palisades is a townhouse community located along the South Coast of Barbados, only a short 10-minute drive from the airport. It is steps away from one of the most popular surfing spots on the Island - Freight’s Bay. Within walking distance of the popular Enterprise Beach, it is also only a 15-minute drive from Bridgetown, and is in close proximity to golf, shopping, and many other amenities within the South Coast areas of Oistins and Worthing.
Unit 6A offers an open plan design that allows free flow from the living/dining room and kitchen, out to the patio, where you will find a private plunge pool. The kitchen is ultra modern and well-equipped, featuring stainless steel appliances and all the comforts of home. The downstairs bedroom also opens onto the patio where you can enjoy the moonlight and stars or the gorgeous sunshine of the day. Upstairs, the master bedroom has its own small private balcony that has lovely views of the ocean, yet another perfect spot to relax, unwind, and watch the sun set. The second upstairs bedroom also has beautiful views of the sea from its balcony. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated in muted, soft light colours that add to the tranquil feel of Palisades 6A.
As a guest at The Palisades, you can also enjoy the cliff top, Ocean Front Club House, with amazing ocean views. Facilities at the club house include a small kitchen/bar area, washrooms, semi-private outdoor shower, sundeck, and staircase access to the tidal Freight’s Bay Beach.

Palisades 6A, Barbados villa review
This recent stay at Unit 6A is my 3rd in two years. As such, the property continues to exceed my expectations for a relaxing, tropical experience. From the initial booking and reservation procedure to checking out and everything in between, WhereToStay staff understand the needs of their guests in a foreign place far from home. Topics such as property description, tips for arrival, shopping, local activities, and customs were accurately explained prior to arrival. The comforts of Unit 6A are exactly as described on the website, including its privacy, cleanliness, and pleasant housekeeping staff.
I’m already making plans to book 6A again during 2020.
As mentioned, my previous experience booking 6A with WhereToStay and Andrew has always been cordial, professional, and pleasant. All communications and terms for renting are completed in a timely manner, and Andrew has been very helpful when responding to any questions or concerns. Emails and messages are promptly returned.

Palisades 6A, Barbados villa review
I have had the pleasure of staying at Palisades several times over the last year, both as a member of a group rental and also as a booked guest. As such, I have become well acquainted with vacation life at the villas, and what they have to offer for the complete Barbados experience, whether it’s the quiet and convenient location 20 minutes from the airport, or the clean and private space in each of the villas. Palisades is the perfect place to kick back after a day surfing at Freights Bay.
Andrew was very professional, and answered all questions and concerns in a punctual manner. We had excellent communication at all times.
