Westhaven is a two-story beachfront villa with all the regality of a classic Barbadian plantation home. This villa is gently lapped by Gibbs Beach’s calm waters and surrounded by lush foliage.
Gardens surround the front gateway, which opens to the pool deck and ocean views. The shimmering pool is surrounded by cushioned loungers and a dining nook. This nook leads into a canopied living area, dining table, and garden courtyard, which all open to the lavish interior. There’s private, direct access to the Gibbs Beach and its serene, crystal clear waters. Swim, snorkel, and enjoy several water sports on the bay, or take a romantic stroll to Mullins Beach.
The living room is on the ground floor and features a 42” flatscreen cable TV, DVD player, and lounge. The kitchen’s large window opens outwards to the dining area, making it convenient to serve meals, snacks, and beverages prepared by the chef. The chef prepares three meals a day, and a housekeeper and laundress also maintain the villa. There’s WiFi and an alarm system throughout the home.
All four bedrooms have outdoor patios, air-conditioning, and ensuite bathrooms. Three are located on the first floor and one is situated on the ground level. The master suite has a king bed, TV, desk, and armchair. The second suite has two twin beds that can be made up as a king. These two bedrooms share a balcony that overlooks Gibbs Bay. The third and fourth suites have smaller balconies with garden views. One has a twin bed and the other has a queen bed.
Speightstown, a historic hot spot, is five minutes away. Mullins Beach and Reeds Bay sit on either side of Gibbs Beach, and its easy to access the various bays up and down Barbados’ Platinum Coast.
