Westshore Beach House is ideal for two couples or families who are traveling together. Both levels have two bedrooms, seating areas, and exterior access. The kitchen and dining area are on the lower level, so guests can all cook together and enjoy a bottle of wine before retreating to their separate spaces at the end of the night. There’s a plunge pool at the villa, but the ocean is also steps away.
Beachfront villa!
Westshore Beach House is a two-story, beachfront villa ideal for families and groups. This modern vacation rental features an open-concept design, high ceilings, and stunning views of turquoise ocean waters.
The spacious covered deck overlooks the Caribbean Sea, and a set of stairs leads down to loungers on the sugar-white sand. Westshore is located on the Platinum Coast, which is home to Barbados’s most beautiful waters, horizons, and beaches. The ocean stretches for miles in either direction, and a grove of palm trees adds a layer of seclusion. Sailboats dot the horizon, and waves whisper against the shore as a constant backdrop. The villa’s sundeck is partially enclosed for privacy, and a plunge pool nestles in the corner for cocktails and casual dips. Loungers sit beneath umbrellas on the lower level, and plush seating furnishes the glass-bordered balcony.
Cool tones flow from the entryway to the elegant dining room and kitchen. Sliding glass doors frame the ocean view on either side of the elegant dining table. Cushioned armchairs and a breakfast bar provide space to enjoy coffee and cocktails. Smoky blue cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops outfit the kitchen, and a pantry sits off to the side. Upstairs, guests can relax in plush sofas and armchairs as they watch movies on the flatscreen TV. Westshore’s DVD and book library surrounds the entertainment system, and a wall of sliding doors opens to the furnished balcony.
Westshore Beach House’s bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom and air-conditioning. On the lower level, there is a master suite and a twin suite. On the upper level, there is another master suite and a king suite. The lower and upper level master suites have glamorous soaking tubs and walk-in showers, while the other two bathrooms have walk-in showers. Housekeeping maintains the villa six days a week, so guests barely have to lift a finger.
Westshore sits five minutes from picturesque Speightstown, which is home to many beachfront restaurants and cafes. Holetown’s boutiques, dining, and nightclubs are 10 minutes away. Sandy Lane Golf Club and Westmoreland’s championship golf courses are moments away, as well.
West Shore will be undergoing renovations from May 1st to September 1st, 2016, new rates will be decided after renovations are completed.

Life doesn't get any better!
Westshore Beach House, Barbados villa review
How good does life get? We spent some time at Westshore Villa, and the place was wonderful. The surroundings were gorgeous; and the staff was exceptional- they treated us like family. We loved it! We can’t wait to go back. We already miss Juliana’s cooking, and Liana’s friendly smile.
Andrew was just simply the best. He was so helpful, and got back to us quickly. He had the answers to all our questions, and was helpful, courteous and just fantastic to deal with. Thanks, Andrew! We had a great time.

Westshore Beach House, Barbados villa review
We went on this vacation and got more than we bargained for. In addition to this beautiful house, we had a prime location. The house itself was not more than 3-4 feet from the ocean, and the water was fairly calm - calm enough to take our toddler into the water.
The plunge pool was small, but perfect to dip in after being out in the hot sun. We never wanted to leave the house! Our staff was what really made the vacation. They took such good care of us. The food our cook made was excellent and innovative, and the maid kept our clothes, towels, sheets clean and pressed them daily.
This place is ideal for a family or a group of friends looking to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this place. We love to travel and have stayed in several villas, but this was the best experience by far. Compared to other places we looked at, this place was very affordable. I hope to return soon.

Westshore Beach House, Barbados villa review
We just returned from a week at this villa. We four couples had a great time.
The cooking by Juliana was superior to the few restaurants we went to. Her daughter Liana helps her and they are superb. We ate quite a bit of fish (Dorado and Tuna) that we purchased at the fish market (only a few hundred yards away down the beach) and Juliana grilled it.
We went shopping in Holetown for groceries and souvenirs. It was very convenient. The snorkeling right out in front of the villa was great. We also went out on a glass bottom boat and snorkeled with turtles. It was worth it for $35 per person.
We also did several day trips - one to Crane Beach (a must!) for body surfing and another one to the north east coast caves, working our way down to Bathsheba for lunch.
The rooms/villa were actually nicer than the pictures posted on the web sites. Also, there was no need to buy bottled water, Barbados water was fine to drink. A few small birds came buy each day for handouts, as did a family of monkeys (which I missed.) The sunsets were great, too!
We had a great time! We would go back in a heartbeat, although we like to try a different location each winter. It was far better (and less expensive) than an all-inclusive, which I haven’t done in years.
I gave it a four-star rating because of a few minor issues (plumbing and internet) that did get resolved, finally. (It took three days to get online.)

Everything WhereToStay had told us about Westshore came true.
Juliana and Liana were outstanding. They were there when we
needed them, and disappeared when they were not needed.
The cooking was fabulous, and the care was greatly appreciated. My husband located his cousin, John Hunte, and that was wonderful.
It was an unforgettable trip, and I know where to go if we decide to return!
