The best thing about Soleil Villa is the location. You get a stunning view of Trunk Bay, and you can follow a steep path down the hill to get to the sand and sea. The villa itself has tons for you to do outside - a BBQ grill, hammocks, loungers, dining, and a pool - so you don’t have to go far to have a good time.

Soleil Villa is a modern paradise nestled into the hillside on Tortola’s northern shore. Vibrant vistas fill the horizon, and Trunk Bay beach rests below the villa.
Spacious verandas encourage outdoor living. Cushioned loungers border the tiled pool, and al fresco dining lies beneath a shaded gazebo. Guests can eat, sleep, and cook outside thanks to the hammocks and barbecue grill. The crashing waves create a tropical soundscape, and the sunsets light up the sky each night. Trunk Bay’s pristine, secluded beach can be reached via a short hike or drive, and the refreshing seawater waits for afternoon swims. After an ocean swim, feel free to rinse off in the villa’s outdoor showers.
Inside the villa, the open-concept common area encompasses the living room, dining table, and fully equipped kitchen. The living room’s flatscreen TV has DVD, Wii, and Satellite capabilities. A washing machine and dryer are available for laundry, and the entire villa is air-conditioned. The two king suites open to the patio and have ensuite bathrooms. The third suite has two twin bunk beds and ocean views.
White sand beaches border the North Shore around Soleil Villa, including gorgeous Trunk Bay and surfers-paradise Josiah Bay. Road Town, the capital of the British Virgin Islands, is 10 minutes away and has several restaurants, activities, and a ferry.

Amazing home and location in BVI!
Soleil Villa, British Virgin Islands villa review
This home was perfect in every way! The secluded location with access to a nearly private beach was great! The walk down to the beach on Trunk Bay is a rocky trail of about 300 feet down, but its very hikeable, even with chairs and a small cooler. Since Trunk Bay has limited vehicle access, the beach is practically unused most of the time, except for neighbors. There is boat access, but during our trip, only a few stopped by, and there’s plenty of beach to enjoy! The home was perfectly furnished, very comfortable, open and airy with spectacular views!
The concierge/host we had was Katie, and she was super responsive and had great suggestions/recommendations for us whenever asked. Katie made the arrival and departure extra easy for us as well, which is always a great start to a trip!
We hired a private chef for dinner one night, and she was awesome! The meal was fantastic and really enjoyed her company!
The outdoor shower is also a plus, private and a nice addition!
We’ll plan to return to Soleil Villa again on our next Tortola trip!
Very good! Betsy helped a lot with pre-planning, and Katie was the person on the island helping with arrival/departure. She was amazing and super attentive to our messages!

Soleil Villa, British Virgin Islands villa review
Truly an amazing villa, which created an amazing vacation experience for myself and my wife! It is even better than what the amazing pictures capture! It is just set back high enough from the beach to have privacy, but close enough to listen to the crashing waves of the ocean day and night! The property is maintained impeccably with a beautiful, contemporary and open design. We loved grilling on the barbecue, eating in the gazebo and waking up watching the sunrise. The rocky patch down the beach was no problem (we love to hike), but does require more than just sandals (just a recommendation). Having access to the beach was so wonderful, and Trunk Bay beach is completely unspoiled and very very quiet, with only limited access. Can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you Shawna and team!
Experience was seamless, insights were perfect—exactly why I chose to use wheretostay. Shawna was incredibly responsive with any pre-trip questions that I had, she provide very villa guidance as I narrowed my selections for which villa to select, and she provided great travel guidance overall. I honestly LOVED the concierge service as well, which allowed us to order groceries and have a fully stocked kitchen when we arrived. Katie Westlake greeted us upon arrival at the Villa and she was was just lovely in terms of getting us oriented and feeling welcome to BVI.

Soleil Villa, British Virgin Islands villa review
The Soleil Villa was even better than the pictures portrayed. The villa, Trunk Bay beach, the sound of the waves were so perfect we hardly ever left the villa. This is definitely a place we will return to again and again. When we did venture out we had great meals and ambiance at Sugar Mill, Brandywine Estate and Brandywine Rooftop.

Villa Soleil - our visit
Soleil Villa, British Virgin Islands villa review
If you are looking for a private hillside villa on the beautiful island of Tortola in the BVIs, I would strongly recommend Villa Soleil. My wife and I took a much needed trip together to Tortola recently and chose Villa Soleil because of its seclusion atop pristine Trunk Bay. The views from this villa are stunning whether you are lying on the sun deck, cooling off in the infinity pool or enjoying the breeze on the covered porches. Speaking of Trunk Bay, just follow the cleared path down the hillside and step out onto the spongy sands and enjoy the serenity of having the beach practically to yourself.
Inside the villa is spacious with an open living area and large fully-stocked kitchen which was ideal for us because we chose to cook-in for most meals and just enjoy all the amenities of Villa Soleil. The master bedroom has a great ocean view and you can fall asleep nightly to waves of Trunk Bay below. For those needing to stay connected to society, the villa offers WIFI and satellite TV. I would definitely suggest the panoramic views of Trunk Bay, the access to a secluded beach, and all the amenities which are offered by Villa Soleil.
