Quiet and peaceful, Azure Wish villa sits right at the water’s edge making this a perfect getaway for couples that want some privacy and alone time. The villa sits on a gorgeous shoreline that would be ideal for early morning beach-combing, and the twin kayaks are perfect for exploring the area. If you want to see a little more of the island, you can indulge in some retail therapy in the island resort shops, book a day cruise, or go deep sea fishing just 5 minutes down the road. Have fun sightseeing, but return home in time to enjoy watching the sun set from the beach or pool.
Beachfront villa with sunset views!
Azure Wish offers spectacular snorkeling and sunset views from one of the most private settings on Virgin Gorda. An expansive driveway surrounded by mature gardens and privacy hedges welcomes guests to this tropical retreat.
A heated L-shaped pool with a kid-friendly shallow area and an adjacent dining area borders the beach, and loungers are placed throughout the terrace so guests can sunbathe all day. Seaside decks offer recliners and modern wicker furniture steps from the sea. Two double kayaks and snorkel sets are available for exploring the sea, and the BBQ grill is ideal for al fresco feasts.
Sliding glass doors allow the living, dining, and kitchen areas to capture the fresh Caribbean breezes and stunning views. The living room is furnished with plush seating and an entertainment system, while the adjacent dining room seats eight. The kitchen is large, modern, and well-equipped with stainless steel appliances, a reverse osmosis water filtration system, an ice maker, a blender, dual mini-fridges, a coffee maker, a kettle, and concrete countertops. Azure Wish is fully air-conditioned, although every room has windows that can open to the natural breeze.
The Coral and Sand Suites can be found just off the main level’s foyer. Both suites enjoy king beds and modern ensuite bathrooms, but the Sand Suite can be configured with two twin beds. Upstairs, there are two large master bedrooms with grand cathedral ceilings, and ensuite bathrooms with large double showers. One master bedroom has a TV.
Guests at Azure Wish have access to the Nail Bay Athletic Club’s tennis court and gym. The Sugarcane Restaurant is minutes away in Nail Bay, and there are several restaurants and activities nearby.

Had a great stay at Azure Wish. House was clean, and beautiful, the pool was perfect for that setting. Just a few steps to the beach. Our property manager was excellent! She helped us out throughout our vacation. I will highly recommend Azure wish, along with the staff at “wheretostay.”
Fantastic! Great help with booking water taxi, groceries etc.

We loved every bit of our stay at the villa and feel homesick already. We loved the house very much - our eleven-year-old daughter, Lara, is crying every single day (combined with some jet-lag) because she misses it.
The location couldn’t be better: rather secluded and right on the beach, yet within walking distance of the resort’s restaurant.
We went snorkeling daily for several hours. Although we’ve been on snorkeling trips, we never really found better places than just in front of the house and at Long Bay when we used the kayaks.
Once we found ourselves surrounded by hundreds of thousands of fish (I am not exaggerating!) at Long Bay. It was really the whole Bay full of fish - from very tiny to 15 cm long. And then cruising in that sea of fishes there were ten or more beautiful silver Tarpons - about 1,5 to 2 meter long each. It was very peaceful in my eyes, although Rita and Lara were a bit afraid. It was an unforgettable experience.
We also saw really beautiful turtles and very elegant large barracudas, rays - all kinds of reef fish - and a big living conch.
The house was perfect to our use - designed with great taste.
The kitchen was complete with chef-knives and all imaginable appliances (the best for us being the Japanese Teriyaki plate). The air-conditioning was fine-tuned all-over - what can a guest want more?
Satin sheets covered the super king sized beds with the best mattresses. It was difficult to get out of sometimes! It was great. We also enjoyed what we call “double car-wash” showers and the super Jacuzzi.
Outside we had a wonderful setting of beach-chairs perfectly located in front of the elegant pool and a top-notch BBQ.
The staff at the resort was very friendly - really! People who visit the Caribbean often will know what we mean by that.
We loved every bit of Rambutan!

It is finally open again!

I am so happy that Rambutan Villa is open again! I have been trying to book a stay here for two years now, but it has been closed due to construction in the area.
It is as lovely as ever, right on the beach. It is literally steps to the beach, quiet and private. We loved being accessible to everything. The villa is appointed so comfortably. It is very serene and Zen-like. We felt like it was home.
There are some new updates. The sheets are amazing - same as The Wynn in Las Vegas, which is super high end. The towels are lovely, too!
They also now offer a boat service pick up from Beef Island. It’s an additional cost, but worth it. It sure is nicer and more on time than the ferry! The Captain comes and meets you, and there are drinks on board. It’s just lovely.
If you have never stayed here or been to Virgin Gorda, I highly recommend it. Our family loves it!

This little bit of paradise was all we had dreamed of! The snorkeling so close to the house was incredible, and the close proximity to multiple beaches was a bonus.
The accommodation was very comfortable for eight of us, and was complete with everything we needed. Also, the view was breathtaking.
We will certainly be returning to Rambutan Villa!

We stayed here in June 2006, right after our children finished school. We have a five- and seven-year old.
Rambutan Villa was beyond our expectations. The pictures cannot capture the feeling of of walking into this villa with its beautiful architecture and seaside location. The owners have made it a point to cater to everyone - the children had their amenities, and we did, too.
Irma, with guest services, was a gem and went above and beyond to make us feel confortable and welcome. We plan to return again and again!
