Beach Dreams Villa sits steps away from the white sands of Mahoe Beach. With four air-conditioned bedrooms and ocean views, this villa is perfect for couples or families on vacation together. Beach Dreams can sleep up to 11 guests, including children.

The stone pool deck and Jacuzzi are surrounded by lounge furniture. The beach is located on the opposite side of the lawn, renowned for its sugary white sand and nearby snorkeling reef. A wide veranda shades an al fresco dining area, which opens to the living room. Just inside, the living area blends with the dining area and kitchen. Guests can enjoy DVDs on the flatscreen TV as they eat at the dining table. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and an espresso machine. Each of the air-conditioned bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and ocean views. The first two bedrooms have king-sized beds and futons, perfect for couples with children. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a single futon, and the second bedroom has a king-sized bed and queen futon. The third bedroom has a king-sized bed, and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The sleeping arrangements allow a variety of guests to enjoy Beach Dreams.

Beach Dreams has access to a communal tennis court located in the center of the Mahoe Beach community, which is in the middle of Virgin Gorda. Shopping, dining, laundry facilities, and supermarkets are only 5-10 minutes away in Spanish Town.

Beach Dreams Villa, British Virgin Islands villa review

Our two families vacationed at this lovely home a few weeks ago in July. Having been at the house next door a few years ago, we knew what to expect and were once again impressed with this lovely location.

The house has all the amenities you need to feel comfortable and is a short drive to a small supermarket and casual restaurants. If you want to truly get away from it all and relax in a quiet, gorgeous location, this is the place for you. It’s secluded and private and especially fun if you are sharing it with good friends or family.

Virgin Gorda is still an unspoiled paradise, although some subtle changes were seen from six years ago (guardrails on the steep, winding roads, larger supermarket, more casual eateries). In my opinion, these changes are for the better and the island is still largely undiscovered as a big tourist attraction. I for one hope it stays the peaceful, remote place that it is today.

Beach Dreams Villa, British Virgin Islands villa review

We stayed at this villa in June 2003. While the location was spectacular, the house was not.

It was furnished with many mismatched pieces that looked like they had come from the Salvation Army. We toured every single beachfront villa on Mahoe Bay and Beach Dreams was by far the worst. The other villas had much more upscale furnishings and were lighter and brighter.

When we arrived at Beach Dreams, there was not a stitch of patio furniture or lounge chairs anywhere. When we asked where we could eat outside, we were told to eat inside because it was way too hot.

The great room was not air conditioned. And maintenence finally “borrowed” outdoor furniture from the villa next door that was unoccupied.

Another small complaint was the distance to the beach. While Beach Dreams was oceanfront, you had to walk across the yard on a path to the sidewalk that ran between two houses and then down onto the beach. The other villas on Mahoe had direct beach access from their property.

All in all, it was a great trip but for the price ($1,000 a night in off season), there were better options.
